it wlll take time but vtl is a significant start. a baby step to restore our air hub. as you can see from news, many locals here eager to fly esp to S Korea which is also having rising cases jamming SIA website haha for the time being, mostly business and family pple will fly here.

Besides businessmen or workers who have no choice, if I am a tourist looking for a place to travel to, I will look for a country with lower population density to stay safer. Singapore is too densely populated, wonder why our PM wants to compare with other countries who had opened up their restrictions.

The top 20% rich Singaporeans will tell you 10k a ticket is still considered cheap, as for middle class is still affordable. Past 2 years the wealth from Singaporeans are huge now to travel. SIA air setwardness are ready to join back their flight no need work distance ambassador

Your worries are unfounded. Singaporeans are so rich. Just see COE and property prices. That little increase in tics price, no issue. SIA jack up price also no problem. We just wanna go overseas! SIA share price will fly.

relax la, sia still a way to go. but one can easily see the massive pent-up travel desire/support which augurs well for its ultimate recovery. i expect a short rally next week but wud dance back slowly to 5$ level. i stand by at 4.99 and hopefully 4.81. the key is still the efficacy of merck covid pill.
