The last big sell-down trade was at 11.50am consisting of 1216.1 lots thrown down at 3.67. So it has been a good 5 hrs without any more selling in big lots. And that' s a very good sign.  It could mean the big fund who has been selling is done. |

3.6x is the low for many months.. 3.5x range was way way back.. so for recent collectors it is zero sum game..so must wait for funds to push it up till Dec XD.. fingers crossed | ||||

What' s the difference between Noble and SingTel? When USS Noble was struck by multiple torpedoes launched from Submarine Iceberg, Noble' s price dived and sank to the bottom of the sea. Last few days and today, we also saw USS SingTel struck by multiple Sibeh Tng and Sibeh Tua Tua Kee torpedoes too.   And all of those long long super huge torpedoes hit the hull of USS SingTel but she did not sink. During the initial torpedo attack which started a few days ago, she did sink a little. But even when the torpedo attack became more intense and the detonations were even more powerful than those from the initial attack, yet USS SingTel, unlike USS Noble continue to stay afloat. What' s the difference between USS SingTel and USS Noble?? What is the reason why USS SingTel could stay afloat despite the fierce torpedo attack? When there is massive selling of a stock but there is little or no buying, the stock price being unsupported, will freefall. But if the massive selling is met with equally massive buying, then the selling will be well absorbed by the buying and the stock price will hold steady. Good for us and many LONGists out there that funds and retail investors and traders alike are coming out to buy to support the price. That' s why 3.65 to 3.67 is holding out well despite the heavy selling in big lots by probably just one fund. Retail investors and traders combined are no match for one fund manager. It follows that funds must be buying into this counter too. Otherwise, retail investors and retail traders alone cannot take on one selling fund manager. The price would have fallen to even lower levels. |

Guys, This is her 5-Yr Daily chart.  In the last 4 years, she has largely traded at 3.40 and above. The lowest we can see in the last 5 years was 3.10 and that was when she was rising in a steady uptrend. If the fund who is currently selling has alot more to sell, depending on whether his selling is well absorbed by funds who wish to buy, further downside may bring us to the 3.50 to 3.60 range. Below 3.00 is for now, beyond the range of the radar. Today, there are still multiple sell-down trades in big lots done at 3.67. But the good thing is... all that massive selling is well absorbed by funds and retail bargain hunters alike and so its a WIN-WIN situation. Why WIN-WIN ? That fund who wants to sell gets his SELL orders filled. And becoz all that selling is well absorbed by other funds and retail bargain hunters, the price is held steady at 3.65 to 3.67 range. If selling is not well absorbed becoz there are no buyers as is the case with Noble when she was attacked by Submarine Iceberg and Oil & Gas stocks when they were hit by the oil slide tsunami, the price will freefall. In that scenario, the fund who is selling gets a lower price for his scrips and those vested and still holding have to languish over a huge paper loss. This stock will reach its bottom when the fund who is selling gets all his SELL orders filled. Then comes the rebound. The key to winning in this game is to be able to hold on to your positions until that day comes and then add more positions as the stock price recovers. This is a game of surviving the storm during bad weather and emerging intact as the storm clears and blue skies return. To win, you need to OUTLAST OUTLOON & OUTPLAY the selling till it ends be it at current price or within 3.50 to 3.60. And May The Force Be With All Of You. By " Force" .... I mean the combined Armed Forces of all the Bull Armies who support SingTel.  |

Normally, we don' t stop loss. From past " funny experience" , whenever we stop loss, the shares bounce back strongly. So better to get a good stock that we can sleep & just wait for the time to harvest fruits. If we follow " stop loss" " push together" etc, we will be controlled by them & lost $$. For prof traders or ppl that don' t use their own $$ to invest...stop loss may work to limit loss, but still not a very " super" mechanism.

Finally CD is out .....those I added are mainly fm CIMB ( whatever, see how long they can manage to sell :)) Anyway. Singtel is still offering aro 5% dividend trading close to its 52weeks low . Its a bluer chip and among 4 telco it shld be the least affected as compare to M1 and Starhub. ( one of this might be gone next yr...? ) Certainly a worth for long term investor .DYODD Happy investing.
