Hoarding cash in sg business and let main parent company and malaysian sub take on heavy debt just don make sense. Guess the big bosses had to do a capital review and release that cash pile to help with group debt level. Genting grp owned only 52% genS so they really had to empty out the cash pile to make it worth. genS sitting on $3.7b cash and zero debt. Release 3b would alleviate genting grp debt problem since they got $1.5b back. |
