A seasoned Ghanaian journalist decided to cover today?s U.S. election like the Western media tends to cover elections in Africa and Asia:
AMERICA?S TRIBES GO TO THE POLLS AMIDST UNCERTAINTY By K. Sakyi-Addo Africa News Network (ANN). Millions of American tribesmen and women are voting today to elect a president and lawmakers. Two white tribal elders are contesting to rule the Covid-ravaged wheat-exporting former British colony for the next four years. They are the incumbent Donald J. Trump of the ruling Republican Party and Joseph R. Biden of the opposition Democratic Party, both in their seventies. Due to the levels of illiteracy, candidates are represented on the ballot by animals, the Elephant for the Republicans and a braying Donkey for the Democrats. Over 230,000 people have died of covid, more than any country in the world, leading to widespread poverty and joblessness unseen in the vast country in a century. Millions are dependent on food rations, homelessness is rife, and open defecation common in some provincial capitals. As temperatures drop, the homeless sleep on cardboards and are warmed by steam rising from underground sewers at night. By day, they live off coins tossed their way by European and African tourists. Some voters received assorted food packs from the ruling party suspected by the opposition to be in exchange for votes. In parts of the province of South Dakota, children travel tens of kms everyday to attend the nearest school, with many barely aware of a world beyond their homestead and school playground. Mr. Trump who is neither a believer in God nor science, earlier this year promoted drinking cleaning detergents to the country?s 330 million citizens as the means to fight covid. Some mountain village tribesmen heeded his advice and required emergency medical care. It is unclear which brand of bleach Mr. Trump, his wife, son and courtiers drank when they were infected with the deadly disease in October. Some insiders are certain Mr. Trump, believes the earth is flat. He also believes opposition leader Biden belongs to a cult whose members sleep with children for juju. Trump is a close friend of North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un with whom he publicly exchanged crude insults earlier in his term. Some observers believe the American leader envies Kim?s God-like status among his people, and aspires to have a similar grip on Americans. The Opposition have accused him of packing his administration with Trump clansmen and women and in-laws. The country has a curious system of democracy adopted in 1788 in which candidates are sometimes elected with vastly fewer votes. In 2016, Mrs Hillary Clinton, an elder from the former ruling Democratic Party had three million more votes than Mr. Trump, but was declared the loser much to the bewilderment of democracy watchers elsewhere in the world. She would have been the first woman to lead the country in more than 200 years. Tension has been high in the run-up to the polls with armed gangs, such as the Proud Boys militia, threatening to reject the results should their candidate lose. Some tribal militiamen were caught recently plotting to abduct the head of Michigan province and stage a military coup. Over the weekend, members of the opposition had accused gun-totting, flag-waving ruling party supporters from the Texan tribe of trying to push their candidate?s vehicle off a cliff. Earlier this year, dozens of towns across the country witnessed riots sparked by discrimination against black tribespeople. Their ancestors were shipped from west Africa in their millions over a four hundred year period to work as slaves on cotton plantations. In May this year, George Floyd, a Black tribesman from the province of Minnesota, was killed in broad daylight by a policeman from the white tribe who knelt on his neck until his last breath left him as people watched. He is now out on bail. Another who shot a black tribes woman dead in her own bed at home was not even indicted, leading to further riots. Members of the minority black tribe were counted only as three-fifths human in the 18th century and got the full right to vote in 1965. A black armed militia known as NFAC has also emerged saying they are ready to fight the white tribes. Thousands of shops have been boarded up with plywood and markets closed for fear of post-election unrest. African analysts believe the African Union or Ecowas should send observers to watch the polls to ensure they are free and fair. It is not known whether the UN has taken measures to parachute peacekeepers in, should civil war break out in the increasingly isolated territory. By K. Sakyi-Addo, African News Network.// |

Depends. Biden may give him some perks for not prosecuting him so that he can quietly step down. Biden has more important tasks to handle than to constantly engaging Trump and his supporters. Biden needs to heal the divided society by not continuing conforting Trump.

Cohen told MSNBC?s Alex Witt on Sunday. ?My theory is that Christmastime he heads to Mar-a-Lago and I don?t believe he comes back to Washington. I think he stays at Mar-a-Lago all the way through the inauguration. Cohen, who worked for Trump for years before turning on him in 2018, added that Trump was unlikely to attend the inauguration. He cannot let the camera look at him and basically pull down the curtain and see the wizard that?s standing beside,? Cohen said. ?That he?s a loser, and it?s killing him. Since Trump can?t accept losing, he had to fabricate a conspiracy theory to explain it. Donald Trump cannot accept the fact that he lost,? Cohen said at another point in the interview. ?To him, it?s tantamount to calling him a loser, which is the worst thing in the world that you can actually call him. As a result, Trump will fight the election?s results, even after leaving office, to damage the new administration. He is gonna start his own media company,? Cohen predicted, noting that Trump wanted to launch one in 2015. ?Every day he?s gonna sow more chaos with more fake information disseminated out there in order to be a thorn in President-elect Biden?s thigh. Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress and to campaign finance violations for facilitating hush-money payments on behalf of Trump to porn star Stormy Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal. He was sentenced to three years behind bars, but was released from prison earlier this year and is serving in home confinement due to the coronavirus pandemic. |

Yes, he will because the courts have ruled out his submissions. The world has already recognised Biden as the new President. Trump will have to concede. Of course, Biden may give him some perks to accept it so that the whole country can move on.

Election 2020: What Are the Trump Legal Claims?
President Trump and his allies have pledged to intensify legal efforts this week to contest the presidential election. Many of the lawsuits they have filed so far are limited in scope, making them unlikely to produce large vote swings even if successful. Facing vote deficits in key states, Mr. Trump would need sweeping legal victories in all of them for any chance at closing the electoral gap with President-elect Joe Biden, who was declared the election?s winner by the Associated Press on Saturday. The campaign over the weekend filed an additional lawsuit in Arizona and promised more elsewhere in the coming days. Judges in Georgia, Michigan and Nevada have already rejected its cases. Rudy Giuliani, one of Mr. Trump?s personal lawyers, said Sunday on Fox News that new legal claims would revolve around three issues: alleged barriers to observing the counting of mail-in ballots, alleged votes cast by the deceased and alleged backdated ballots. He didn?t offer evidence of wrongdoing beyond suggesting one lawsuit would focus on allegations from dozens of witnesses that Republicans were prevented from observing the counting of hundreds of thousands of ballots in Pennsylvania. Republicans already have a suit alleging poll observers weren?t allowed close enough in Pennsylvania. State election officials say GOP watchers weren?t denied access. Even if a judge sided with a claim that GOP poll watchers were treated unfairly, it?s unlikely any judge would invalidate election results without evidence of widespread ballot fraud, said Richard H. One Man (Donald Trump) Standing to fight for his rights and his 71million supporters supported him on the US 2020 Election Result, battleground. Not going to be easy, as Joe Biden/Kamala Harris already planning their rights and receiving congratulations from all the world. From 9 Nov 2020 till 21st January 2021, going to be interesting days to see, how critics calling our Trump things e.g. Loser, You are Fired, Mental, Crazy, plus etc.
