Busy day for me at work but I have some additional news from my source (cannot quote due to confidentiality issues with our clients so you may treat it like rubbish) in Vietnam . They are likely to secure existing contracts on top of new contracts barring unforeseen circumstances in Vietnam so watch out for more announcement . This will be a better year for Chasen .

The management comments have been very encouraging. It seems that the recent investments in USA, cross-border logistics etc have been bearing fruits. Post below is the full text of the management comments: Quote: Our Specialist Relocation Business Segment continues to secure new projects with revenue

Shaping up nicely for a good run after a good sets of results and a ultra low price to nav ratio. Can?t believe it?s trading 100% below its nav . Q4 FY should bring its Nav closer to 0.20 with better dividend than last year . Company aggressive expansion into Vietnam is paying dividends . Didn?t realise that the NAV has risen from 0.17 quotes by the management during a Dec 17 reply to a shareholder to 0.189. This gem will fly once it?s under the radar of LT investors . Current price of 0.07 is a huge discount to its NAV. | ||||

A very good set of report by the management . I definitely see better dividends this year . At current prices it?s too cheap and way below it?s NAV. You can quote me but I can this stock going to 0.15 this year . I will be vesting on this on every opportunity . Thanks for highlighting Jo! Will be watching this one intensively since volume is moving :)

As expcted, Chasen report another set of good result. 1. revenue for the 9 months ending dec ' 17 up 25% from S$73.9 to S$92.5 mil. 2. profit up from S$1.6 to S$3.4 mil. i) Revenue For the quarter (&ldquo Q3FY2018&rdquo ) and nine months (&ldquo 9MFY2018&rdquo ) ended 31 December 2017, Group&rsquo s revenue of $31.6 million and $92.6 million were higher than corresponding periods last year by $1.8 million (or 6%) and $18.7 million (or 25%) respectively. This was mainly contributed by Specialist Relocation Business Segment in the USA (which commenced operations in January 2017) and People&rsquo s Republic of China (hereafter &ldquo PRC&rdquo ). The Third Party Logistics Business Segment operations in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand had also contributed to the increase in revenue. ii) Gross profit and gross profit margin For Q3FY2018 and 9MFY2018, Group&rsquo s gross profit of $6.9 million and $21.0 million were higher than corresponding periods last year by $0.4 million (or 6%) and $4.9 million (or 30%) respectively which were in line with the increase in revenue. Group&rsquo s gross margin for Q3FY2018 remained the same as last year at 22% while 9MFY2018 increased by 1% over last year to 23%. positive gains so far as expected. |

Last year 3rd quarter result was out on 10 Feb ' 17 1. Price - current 7.4 cts.( 52 weeks high 14.3 cts. Low 3.1 cts) 2. Nav (Net asset value) - 17.6 cts 3. Profitability - 1st half ending Sept ' 17, profit S$1.7 mil 4. Capitalisation - 26.7 mil 5. Trailing P/E - 6.6 times 6.
