Adventus has never really wanted to be a long term hotel owner. The business is more like property investment. But unlike Individual investors who buy properties at market values(for example $100 mil) and hope for price appreciation, Adventus builds its own properties at cost(for example $55 mil for a property worth $100 mil if completed) Upon completion of construction after lets say 3 years and assuming that property prices didn' t appreciate over those 3 years, there will still be a profit of $45 mil($100m - $55m cost). If there is a 30% appreciation from $100 mil to $130 mil, it means a profit of $75 mil ($130m - $55m cost). But Adventus doesn' t intend to just sell away the buildings, they intend to set up the hotel and resort businesses so that they can sell at even higher prices of for example $150 mil. So unlike individual investors who can only make $30m from price appreciation based on the example above, Adventus can make $95m from the sale of both the building plus the business. Adventus invested in two 5-Star properties in upcoming casino integrated resorts cities since around 3 years ago before property prices further appreciate in Vietnam. Construction of both properties will be completed soon, which means that once completed and with re-valuation of assets, Adventus will see a soar in its NAV. Price of Adventus hasn' t really appreciated yet - Big boss bought his shares at $0.0165 while price is $0.014 currently. Buying shares of Adventus now is not just akin to going back to 3 years ago to buy that property at $100m but to buy that property at $55m(cost). Vaccines are near. Constructions of both 5-Star properties are near completion. Opening of borders won' t be far when vaccines are distributed(which can be as early as next month for many countries). New commodity business may be confirmed anytime from now. These may be the reasons why there have been collection of shares lately from 0.011-0-014. |

CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts: Moderna said on Monday (Nov 16) its experimental vaccine was 94.5 per cent effective in preventing COVID-19 based on interim data from a late-stage clinical trial, becoming the second US company in a week to report results that far exceed expectations. Together with Pfizer' s vaccine, also shown to be more than 90 per cent effective, and pending more safety data and regulatory review, the United States could have two vaccines authorised for emergency use in December with as many as 60 million doses of vaccine available by the year' s end. Next year, the US government could have access to more than 1 billion doses just from the two vaccine makers, more than needed for the country' s 330 million residents. Superb news for Adventus&rsquo s hospitality business or the selling of both the 5-Star resort and the hotel. |

I' m not the most loaded person here, but the prospects of it look promising. Accumulation has begun 0.012 - 0.013 a few weeks ago, and as you said in your previous posts, that Adventus is valued at much higher prices -- I share the same sentiments with you on the projects in Vietnam. Of course, the commodity business is a bonus.

Property prices in Vietnam have risen significantly in the last few years but price of Adventus hasn&rsquo t. Investing in Adventus now is like going back to the past to invest in 2 properties in Vietnam before property prices appreciate. Adventus has been constructing its two 5-Star properties since a few years ago, lands were purchased at low prices years ago. | ||||

For people who just learned that Typhoon Vamco is expected to be the 13th storm to hit Vietnam's Ha Tinh to Quang Ngai province in the coming hours -- yes, it's quite unfortunate but here's why there will be negligible disruptions to Suncity's Casino and both Adventus' 5 star hotels. As of this moment, both Suncity's Casino and Adventus' 5 star hotels have already completed their structures, leaving only interior furbishing to be completed. Knowing that Vietnam has a long history of being prone to destructive storms and floodings due to its long coastline, buildings near the coastline would have been made typhoon-resistant to withstand the strongest of winds. If this wasn't the case for buildings near the coastline, there would have been media reports on real tragic incidents related such as structural collaspe each time a powerful storm or typhoon hits. Some famous typhoon-resistant buildings include Shanghai Tower, Petronas Twin Tower, Tapei 101, and so on. My point in this post is to share this due diligence of mine with shareholders who might be worried. No wonder there are people buying Adventus recently. Apart from the good news about potential vaccines and casino resorts rising in Hoi An, buyers already know what I have just found out(as shown in the 2 images below). In 2019, there were 8.7 million tourists arrivals in Danang. Out of that number, 5.2m(or 60%) are local Vietnamese tourists! Danang has already reopened to welcome local tourists since 11 September. Once ready, Adventist can open their hotel in Danang and resort in Hoi An, there' s no need to wait for border to reopen for international tourists, although that will be a bonus once Vietnam reopens to China and the world.
