it will be significant. Expected project delays, liquidated damages etc. And MOM checking on the workers permit, insurance, and also safety audits on all their sites for sure.. more tough rules to follow since now is a big thing on papers. They can' t cover up. And, they came in as the very much lowest bidder of all bids... What' s their margin like for this project.. Likely to be a significant loss for the things happening. Expect a big provision soon to hit the books for 3rd Q.. | ||||

I don't think there is still profit to be taken when trading resumes on Monday. Better cut loss is more appropriate.

short term sure kena jialat jialat. but they just need to keep a bread and stay alivesure can come back. somemore the investigation report also not out. maybe it is just a combination of factors of daily rain etc that causes the accident. who knows. see the skill of the investigator lor. |

Construction coy. OKP involved in collapse of an uncompleted viaduct near PIE on Friday (Jul 14) ? leaving one dead and 10 injured ? was earlier this week fined over a safety lapse that resulted in the death of another worker in 2015.
Construction firm OKP was contracted by the LTA to build a viaduct next to slip road from Upper Changi Road East to PIE (Changi). Work on the viaduct started in Nov-2015 and was expected to be completed by Nov-2019. This project, with a contract value of more than S$94.6 million, was awarded to OKP in 2015. OKP, together with engineering firm CPG Consultants, beat three other grps which had tendered bids ranging from S$129.7 million to S$193.7 million, according to information on LTA?s website. teeth53 thot - Beating it nearest rival by so much.
