 Alert Admin 		Kirana: it means perennial has acquired 90.7% of Preference Shares. Under Companies Act, after crossing 90%, preference shareholders can get perennial to acquire their preference shares if they still continue to hold them.

 Alert Admin 		Hard to predict 100% market movement, it' s contingent on many factors.   All things being steady, there looks like a competition going on, a game being played.   As pointed out, new players may join, old players may sell out.    
If I own the stock, which I don' t, I' d find out more about UE' s assets, and what it is that attracts the bees.       Is it the freehold land the properties are sitting on, the potential of using scarce land to rebuild into something many times the current valuation?   I suspect it so, hence, all along I thought Ching saw a jewel and is after it. Not just to get small change, the man has big guts and foresight. 
So Oxley shares ran today, check hour by hour, you see surprising patterns.   Let' s see what happens next.

 Alert Admin 		Just got a new release from SGX about UE preference share. I half clear half unclear what they are talking about. Only to blame myslef for not going to finance faculty. Please can anybody with suitable background be kind enough to explain. Maybe explain the whole episode in layman terms.smiley

It either way, it also mean YL/P gloves are off to take on Oxley as they cannot buy any price above GO 2.60 in the market now due to regulation. And even though their ue% is higher than oxley now, they are a consortium bind with agreement and rules internally. And now with Oxley is emerging as a major shareholder that potentially can exert great influence, they could only dilute Oxley percentage by getting more shares in the market  to deny oxley power over board. Especially  if they already got planning with UE/WBL when they launch the acquisition. The show is getting more interesting

 Alert Admin 		Wow.. Q is in 1m qty, keep reloading, and consider this is a 2.70 stocks. Whoever is it is enjoying the same veil of secrecy enjoy by Oxley back then..

I think the undervalue price of general offer is attracting ppl in. Oxley launch in a general offer period shield him from YL/P but still have to defend from market which is more powerful. We have seen so many cases where some warchests arrive and start a new front line. But really pity if Oxley lose out the fight, they already come so far. As for YL/P, they laugh when they got such LB price from OC/GE but now they certainly not having the last laugh. They are basically freeze to SGX rules now.

 Alert Admin 		Fundamentally whether below or 50%, these parties cannot keep quiet IF acting in-concert. So unlikely they will team-up. 

But whether Oxley will team-up with other 3rd parties is anyone' s guess at this juncture. They appear to have a slight advantage though owning less than what YL/P consortium owns as of now ..... at most they extend the duration of offer but will not make any diff
