I respect all investors, being shorting, longing or buying and keeping scripts. But for those not vested, what is the intention of keep blah blah? Just wanna be professional bloggers? Collecting blogging fees?

Again, I am ok if they are blogging fundamental or technical truth.

But both Keppel and SM were saying the dateline is 1st quarter 2022. Unless there is another new announcement, if not, why keep speculating?

The only reason I can think of is they are bloggers for BBs.

If BBs can buy SM, why can&rsquo t I?

Sembcorp Marine Secures Next-Generation WTIV Contract



Singaporean marine and offshore engineering group Sembcorp Marine has secured a contract for the construction of a next-generation Wind Turbine Installation Vessel (WTIV).

The WTIV will be based on Sembcorp Marine&rsquo s in-house design and is expected to be completed in early 2025. To our knowledge, this marks the first WTIV ever designed and built by Sembcorp Marine.

Sembcorp Marine said it collaborated with an undisclosed customer for over two years providing design development and verification work. The high-efficiency WTIV will be capable of handling the next generation of wind turbines that are both bigger and more powerful with lighter rotor blades, taller towers, more reliable drive trains, performance optimising control systems and multi-megawatt power generation capability.

&ldquo We are grateful for the confidence our customer has placed with Sembcorp Marine to bring this breakthrough WTIV design to the offshore wind market,&rdquo said Wong Teck Cheong, Senior Vice President of Sembcorp Marine Rigs & Floaters. &ldquo The Group looks forward to continuing the close collaboration with our customer to execute this project and contribute to the pace of energy transition.&rdquo

With the contract, Sembcorp Marine will strengthen its position in the renewable energy segment.

&ldquo This is another monumental step for the offshore wind industry,&rdquo said Sembcorp Marine President and CEO, Wong Weng Sun. &ldquo Sembcorp Marine is pleased to support the world&rsquo s energy transition with its innovative products and to collaborate with its customers to contribute to a more sustainable and greener future.&rdquo

Details and illustrations of the WTIV have not been shared.
