A bit like buying fire insurance on a house that is already burning, to quote The Big Short. For this trade Anthropic is the one to get on if you can. Some funds have it in their books at the year end value, since which time it has gone up 5x. Clearly one big issue is the upcoming SpaceX IPO which is just so large that it may have global market impact. And then Anthropic and OpenAI IPOs later in the year if SpaceX goes well.

That also implies a 5.1% dividend yield that feels about right. Singtel is a good company but even good companies can become overvalued. Let' s see whether I get a chance to buy back in. If not no problem, plently of other fish in the sea to catch

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Downtrend vs Uptrend DCA Strategy Average Cost Outcome Buy in Downtrend + DCA Average cost down Still lose if price keeps sliding  - catching a falling knife Buy in Uptrend + DCA Average cost up Still win if price keeps climbing - riding the wave Downtrend DCA lowers your cost but not your pain. Uptrend DCA raises your cost but grows your gain. Better to average up in strength OR average down in weakness?   Downtrend DCA only works if the stock eventually recovers, otherwise you&rsquo re compounding losses. Uptrend DCA feels counterintuitive (buying higher), but it aligns with momentum and trend confirmation. The key is trend context: averaging down is defensive, averaging up is offensive.
