My worry is more chinese communist party harassment as the action taken so far look like President has an axe to grind with Jack Ma. Price at below HK$210 looks like a good entry point.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	For short term, i see the followings - moving into hkex index - I got some china/hk friends, they told me that now China ppl cant buy the this alibaba shares as they usually purchase via a platform named 港 股 通 , once that platform is opened for alibaba, all china ppl will come in and push up the price For long term, what will happen on share split - all shortlist need to cover on share split (Alibaba US shares was heavily shorted) - More room for future grow (not that expensive for ppl to hold one lot of shares)

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	baba listed on nyse market cap 528.779b  old listing, traded in usd, subject to us tax where applicable. more liquid  market. 9988.hk listed on hkex  market cap  41319.26hkd, new counter currently no roof top as no crab stock above current price.  going to be included in hk hangseng composite index on 9 dec. more convenient for asian time zone trader. dowside hkd and smaller market. if one believe shares of same company is the same in different market is the same, think for long term holders no different. but if one think price depends on market participation then these are two different product. like hk h shares and china a shares. h shares almost always has discount to a shares. just because different market different participants.
