So if the price is equal to or above 0.5 cents, these old warrant holders will convert their warrants paying 0.5 cents for the shares at the last moment and sell off in the market prices exceeding 0.5 cent. This will not be good for current big shareholders because not only it will dilute their holdings but also cause too much oversubscription of the forthcoming rights and warrants. After the new rights and warrants are issued, then the price for this stock will rise owing to the business improving with the new acquisition.

The reason:   Last time warrants to subscribe for shares at 0.5 cents will expire 2018 March. Old warrants must be killed otherwise problem.
