ISDN has all the ingredients to support a 80c price. All it needs is a little push for it to lift off. Waiting for 80c and above. |

Estimated New Daily Support Pivot Close is located at  0.64 as long as today' s Daily Pivot Resistance  Close  Price of ISDN  today is above 0.73 is fulfilled (likely as now price at 0.77).

The potential follow through  upside buying within this week will most probably  be the first retest of previous all time high between 0.82 and 0.85 which may prompt a stronger profit taking round pullback by Short Term (In The Money)  Traders to surface to sell into an overbought technical situation.

Dip Buying into decent pullback as long as its  New Daily Pivot Support Close  at potentially 0.64 to date is not violated for another New All Time High to surface probably before End Sept 2026 with my Fibonacci  Extension Price Extension Target of  1.236 % for a  minimum $1.14 level.

Due diligence warranted.

ISDN HOLDINGS  LTD 2H26F OUTLOOK  REMAINS
PROMISING

■ 1H26 core net profit was above expectation at 66% of full-year forecast,
driven by a 32% yoy increase in its Industrial Automation (IA) business.

■ Management guided that the IA business is still seeing broad-based demand
and its two new hydropower plants are on track for completion by end FY26F.

■ Reiterate Add, with a higher S$1.05 TP as IA demand remain strong.

1H26 net profit grew 8x yoy foreign exchange loss absent

1H26 revenue increased 19.1% yoy to S$253.6m (54% of our FY26F forecast, above
expectation), driven by the strong 31.9% yoy growth rate in the IA segment (94% of 1H26
revenue) from customers in the Robotics and Industrial Automation (32% of revenue) sand
semiconductor (31% of revenue) sectors.

1H26 net profit grew 8x yoy to S$10.4m from
S$1.3m in 1H25.

Net foreign exchange loss in the income statement was S$147,000.

Foreign exchange fluctuation impact remains more pronounced on the balance sheet.

In 1H26, ISDN&rsquo s Service concession receivables (relating to its Indonesia hydropower
business) saw a foreign exchange revaluation gain of S$9.6m due to the appreciation of
the US$ against the rupiah which was offset by a translation loss of S$8.3m from the
weakening of rupiah against the S$.

Management optimistic on outlook in its key IA business, management believes that favourable industry tailwinds continue to support the group' s long-term business outlook.

Such tailwinds include the accelerating
adoption of advanced manufacturing, robotics and artificial intelligence in industrial
automation throughout Asia for better productivity and challenges in securing labour.

Management also highlighted that ISDN&rsquo s IA capabilities have grown and the group is now
able to deliver the &ldquo full stack&rdquo of technologies from automation components to full
hardware, software, cloud and AI solutions for customers. Its two new hydropower plants
in Indonesia remains on track for completion by end FY26F.

Reiterate Add, given the strong demand for its IA segment, we raise our FY26-28F revenue forecasts by
8.0-19.2%, leading to 25.3-27.9% increase in our FY26-28F EPS forecasts. To mitigate
valuation risk and enhance the margin of safety, we normalise our target P/E multiple from
24x &ndash 1 s.d. above 10-year average previously, justified by Equity Market Development
Programme (EQDP) funds buying liquidity&ndash to the historical average (FY22-26F) P/E of
21x.

Our TP based on 21x FY27F upgraded FY27F EPS forecast is now S$1.05 from
S$0.96 previously.

Reiterate Add as we see robust FY25-28F EPS CAGR of 57.1%. Rerating catalysts: higher-than-expected net profit contribution from its hydropower business
segment, a faster pace of economic growth in China as it stimulates its economy, and a
stronger global semiconductor recovery.

Here&rsquo s the investment takeaway from the CGSI report:

ISDN Holdings &mdash bullish case:

CGSI rating:

Add

Current price: S$0.695.

Target price: S$1.05
Implied upside: ~51%.

Previous TP: S$0.96.

What drove the upgrade:

1H26 revenue:

S$253.6m, +19.1% YoY

1H26 net profit:

S$10.4m, versus S$1.3m previously &mdash roughly 8× YoY
Industrial Automation (IA) revenue grew 31.9% YoY and represents 94% of revenue.

The strongest customer exposure is to robotics/industrial automation (32%) and semiconductors (31%).

CGSI says 1H26 core profit reached 66% of its full-year forecast, meaning earnings are running ahead of expectations.

Why CGSI remains positive:

The key thesis is Industrial
Automation.

Management sees continued demand from:

Advanced manufacturing
Robotics
AI-related industrial automation
Labour shortages and productivity requirements
ISDN also says it can increasingly provide a &ldquo full-stack&rdquo solution, covering automation components through hardware, software, cloud and AI.

Meanwhile, its two Indonesian hydropower projects are expected to be completed by end-FY26, providing another potential earnings catalyst.

Earnings upgrades
CGSI raised its EPS estimates substantially:

FY EPS estimate increase:

FY26F +27.9%
FY27F +25.5%
FY28F +25.3%

Forecast net profit rises from S$6.76m in FY25 to S$20.19m in FY26F, then S$22.70m and S$25.76m in FY27F/FY28F.

That translates to a very strong projected FY25&ndash 28 EPS CAGR of 57.1%.

Valuation:

At S$0.695, CGSI' s FY26F/FY27F/FY28F P/E estimates are approximately:

FY26F: 15.6×
FY27F: 13.9×
FY28F: 12.2×

CGSI uses 21× FY27F EPS for its S$1.05 target, rather than the previous 24× multiple. So interestingly, the higher target isn' t coming from a more aggressive valuation multiple it is primarily the result of higher earnings forecasts.

Due diligence warranted.

TECHNICAL ANALYSIS OF ISDN AS ON 17TH AUGUST  2026

A) Daily Short Term Pivot Resistance Close at 0.73.

B) End Weekly Intermediate Term Pivot Support Close at 0.54.

C) End Monthly Long Term Pivot Support Close at 0.47.

TECHNICAL SYNOPSIS

As long as ISDN to date does not violate its recent carved out bottom at 0.62 which was retested 4 daily  times within 4 weeks of trading, it seems  its daily price action  may have the potential  to rebound strongly to recover above its most  recent  high of  0.82 provided its daily price action  can close above 0.73.

Not breaking  below its  recent carved out bottom at 0.62, the potential of testing its Intermediate Weekly
Pivot  Support Close at 0.54 is limited but breaking below 0.62, its daily price action may grind down much lower to try and test 0.54.

Violating and closing below 0.54 convincingly , may portend  ISDN to test its Monthly Pivot Support  0.47.

Due diligence is warranted.

NB:

Managed to buy some qty of ISDN at 0.715 to add to my existing portfolio.

As an intermediate/long term today I bought by following the market  on the strength on my risk reward calculations.

Therefore I must be prepared to navigate any short term volatilities.

Indeed, ISDN price will rocket above $1.00 in due course.

Therefore,  better to follow the market upside due to its strong company' s fundamentals  which already showing in the Intermediate/Long Term Charts as ISDN being a laggard cheap beta small cap stock has lots of upside catching up to do.

Shortists sales of 1,739,432 shares sold during last week' s daily trading sessions will be forced to buy back tomorrow morning from opening bell fueling its intraday rise as technical buying  market particpants will surface pushing intraday price action higher by jobbing the market.

Any close above break point pivot of 0.73 will still continue to push its price action as market participants await some analysts business updates on ISDN after 1st half 2026 earnings release.

Better buy before ISDN' s coming belated rally.

Waiting for CGS/SAC to do rerating of ISDN target price level from 0.96/0.97 after viewing solid earnings release on 14 Aug 2026.

Price surging from opening bell tomorrow Monday morning past 0.70 will probably  prompt old Shortists to do buy backs and  potentially closing  on big volume by end of day above  0.73    will probably  prompt strong buying momentum from chart technicians to test previous all time high first at 0.82 with the potentially breaking above it.

Of the 3 tech stocks  ISDN, UMS, AEM which is a better buy at current levels for potential higher  upside after weighing 1st half 2026 result

After looking at the 1H 2026 numbers, current share prices and the earnings outlook, my ranking for risk-adjusted upside from current levels is:

My personal ranking:

1. ISDN &mdash best risk/reward

2. UMS Integration &mdash best semiconductor-quality compounder

3. AEM &mdash best earnings momentum, but valuation is now the biggest issue

The important distinction is that AEM has the strongest operating momentum, but ISDN looks the cheapest relative to the earnings recovery.

ISDN/UMS /AEM AS ON 14 AUGUST 2026:

S$0.695/S$2.72 S$10.46

1H26 revenue growth:

19.1%/25%/29.9%

1H26 profit growth:

707%/66% /876%

My preference:

BUY/BUY on weakness, HOLD/BUY on pullback

1. ISDN &mdash my pick at current price

ISDN' s 1H26 result was arguably the most interesting of the three from a valuation vs upside perspective.

Revenue reached S$253.6m, +19.1% YoY, while attributable profit jumped to S$10.4m, more than seven times the year-ago figure.

More importantly, gross profit increased 24.9% to S$63.1m and gross margin expanded to 24.9%. Industrial automation, which accounts for roughly 94% of revenue, grew 31.9% to S$238m.

The renewable energy side temporarily dragged on revenue because construction income from two hydropower projects is nearing completion, but those projects are expected to generate about S$14m of recurring annual net cash income once operational. That makes the earnings mix potentially better going forward.

At S$0.695, the stock is also much less demanding than AEM or UMS.

SAC initiated coverage in July with a S$0.97 target, which implies roughly 40% upside from the current price while CGS target price is 0.96.

Above reasons has given me enough confidence to buy and hold  ISDN  which is my biggest portfolio relative to AEM for  Intermediate/Long Term Investment Horizon which I have been holding for the past 5 years through Dollar Cost Averaging which I am already in the money for my potential 1.236% target objective at minimum  $1.14 first liquidation  level potentially to be achieved before End Sept 2026.

Due diligence warranted.

THE  US MARKET RALLY MAY FEEL &lsquo HOT,&rsquo BUT THE DATA STILL SUPPORTS IT BY A 3RD PARTY ANALYST

Many investors are looking at the current market rally and wondering if it is sustainable.

If you&rsquo re a retiree, the concern may run even deeper, as your natural focus is on preserving gains, avoiding major drawdowns, and making sure your portfolio can support long-term income needs.

To put it another way:

When stocks move higher in a hurry, it is reasonable to ask whether the market has moved too far, too fast.

The only real way to answer the question is to look at the earnings and economic fundamentals, in my view.

Market volatility&mdash which I often remind readers can move stocks in both directions&mdash is driven by sentiment in the short run, but over time, earnings, economic growth, business investment, and consumer demand matter far more.

If that&rsquo s the criteria we use to evaluate the current market, the rally looks to me like it has fundamental support.

The clearest tailwind is coming from corporate earnings and latest local Tech Stock  Leader, AEM' s and its peers  including  ISDN' s 1st Half  Earning 2026 have  already fulfilled its requirements.

Due diligence warranted.

ISDN SHORT SELLING DATAS FOR THE WEEK  11TH AUGUST TO 14 AUGUST  2026

Shortists          Close
72900    11/8 0.65
231679  12/8 0.66
492600  13/8 0.68
942253  14/8 0.695

Based on the figures given, ISDN  is showing a pattern that could create conditions for a short squeeze next week.

The interesting part is that short selling increased dramatically while the price kept going higher.

That is potentially bullish because short sellers are increasing their exposure while the stock is refusing to fall.

The sequence is quite striking:

72.9k &rarr 231.7k &rarr 492.6k &rarr 942.3k

while:

$0.65 &rarr $0.66 &rarr $0.68 &rarr $0.695

In other words, the short volume increased roughly 12.9 times from 11 August to 14 August, yet the share price increased about 6.9%.

This is exactly the type of situation where a squeeze can develop.

Why?

Suppose a trader shorts ISDN at $0.66 expecting it to fall to $0.60. Instead, it moves:

$0.66 &rarr $0.68 &rarr $0.695 &rarr $0.72

The short position is losing money. If the stock continues rising, some shorts may decide that the risk is no longer acceptable and buy shares to close their positions.

Those purchases create additional demand, which can push the price higher, forcing more shorts to cover.

That is the classic short-squeeze feedback loop.

Why next week is particularly interesting whereby
the timing is significant:

ISDN had scheduled its board meeting/results around 14 August 2026, and the company has already shown very strong 1Q2026 operational momentum.

Its May business update reported 24% revenue growth, 767% growth in profit after tax, and a 2,973% increase in profit attributable to shareholders.

It also reported strong demand from industrial automation, semiconductors, industrial robots, AI/data-centre and energy-storage related businesses.

That creates an interesting situation:

Short sellers: increasing activity

versus

Fundamentals/news: potentially supportive

versus

Price: continuing upward.

That combination can become dangerous for shorts.

ISDN has also been an unusually volatile counter one recent assessment describes it as moving around 13% per week, with the share price having risen substantially over the past year.

Bottom line:

There is a  potential credible short-squeeze setup developing.

The most bullish feature is:

Short volume is exploding while price is simultaneously rising.

But better wait for $0.70 to be convincingly taken out, followed by $0.72&ndash $0.73 with strong volume, before calling it a genuine squeeze.

If ISDN can break $0.75 and then challenge $0.80&ndash $0.82, while short activity remains elevated, the squeeze could become substantially more powerful.

Technically as long as ISDN' s daily price action can recover and  close above its Daily Short Term Pivot Resistance of 0.73 any day next week, its Short Term Trend will turn positive into a confirmed dip buying strategy which better for choice as its Intermediate/Long Term Upward Trend already stays intact up till date at 0.54 and 0.47 respectively.

Due diligence warranted.

The really important part of ISDN' s result release today isn' t just the  minimum S$10m profit.

It' s the combination of three things happening simultaneously:

1. Industrial Automation is accelerating.

S$238m revenue at +31.9% is substantial. More importantly, the growth isn' t concentrated in one market:

China: +26.3%
Southeast Asia: +53.0%
growth across almost all automation segments

That gives ISDN a much stronger growth profile than simply having one large customer or one cyclical project.

2. The order book doubled.

This is the part which investors will  pay the most attention to:

Revenue tells you what happened. Order-book growth tells you what could happen next.

If the doubled order book converts into revenue over the coming quarters, ISDN could continue posting strong growth even if the broader semiconductor/AI cycle cools somewhat.

3. Hydropower is transitioning from construction to recurring income.

The 52.1% decline in renewable energy revenue looks ugly at first glance, but the explanation matters.

The two new plants are nearing completion, so construction revenue is falling.

Once operational, they' re expected to add about S$6m of recurring annual net cash income, taking the group' s total recurring net cash income from hydropower to roughly S$14m annually.

So this is essentially a mix transition:

construction revenue & recurring cash generation.

That' s actually healthy for the long-term business quality.

Overall: 🟢 Very bullish operationally
on the  score  card of the 1H2026 report.

Business momentum: 9/10

Revenue growth: 9/10

Order-book visibility: 9/10

Recurring cash-flow outlook: 8.5/10

Current profitability: 7/10

Margin quality: needs monitoring.

The result substantially strengthens the long-term ISDN investment thesis.

The market question now isn' t really whether Can ISDN grow?

The evidence increasingly says yes.

Therefore a Buy and Hold Strategy in respect of  Dip Buying  for the next few quarters will prevail and better for choice.

Due diligence warranted.

With ISDN' s 1st Half 2026 earnings result above market' s expectations, investors can look forward to ISDN' s daily price action try to close above its Daily Short Term Pivot Resistance of 0.73  any trading day within next week to portend ISDN to try test its previous All Time High of 0.82 with the potential of breaking above it before End August 2026.

As such as market is never linear but subject to  Short Term pullbacks from time to time due to over bought condition, dip buying strategy will still  continue to prevail and better for choice for Intermediate/Long Term Investors to navigate Short Term Volatilities.

Due diligence warranted.

ISDN&rsquo s 1HFY2026 earnings surge more than 700% y-o-y to $10.4 mil revenue at record high of $253.6 mil ISDN Holdings (SGX:I07) has reported earnings of $10.4 million for 1HFY2026, ended June 30, a significant jump of 707.2% y-o-y. Revenue increased 19.1% y-o-y to a record high of $253.6 million in 1HFY2026, driven by strong growth across its industrial automation business segment. Revenue from its industrial automation business, which accounts for 93.9% of total revenue, grew 31.9% y-o-y to $238 million, with revenue growth recorded across all business groups and the majority of its addressable markets. ISDN noted that China remains the primary revenue contributor for its industrial automation business, accounting for 71.3% of the segment&rsquo s revenue. On the other hand, revenue from its renewable energy segment, which accounts for 6.1% of total revenue, declined 52.1% y-o-y to $15.6 million. The drop was mainly due to lower construction income from the two new mini-hydropower plants in Indonesia &mdash Lau Biang 2 and Lau Biang 3 &mdash as both plants approached completion. Gross profit at the group level was up by 24.9% y-o-y to $63.1 million. The higher figure was supported by a higher contribution from higher-margin products and solutions, as well as improved project execution efficiencies, partially offset by lower construction revenue from the renewable energy business. Other operating expenses declined 92% y-o-y from $7 million to just $562,000, mainly due to lower net foreign exchange losses of $5.2 million, and a lower provision for inventory obsolescence of $1.4 million, partially offset by an increase in loss on disposal of property, plant and equipment of $100,000. In terms of outlook for its industrial automation business, ISDN is seeing growth across its end market such as AI application, data centres and more. As such, its order book has more than doubled from a year ago. &ldquo We believe ISDN has developed the right capabilities, in the right markets, with a solid longterm strategy for growth. We are mindful of the volatile macro-economic environment today, and remain disciplined with our investment levels as we continue to build growth for the group in the industrial automation and renewable energy markets,&rdquo says Teo Cher Koon, managing director and president of ISDN. Shares of ISDN closed 1.5 cents higher, or up 2.21% at 69.5 cents on Aug 14. |

&bull Renewable energy revenue declined 52.1% YoY to S$15.6 million, mainly due to lower
construction income from the two new mini-hydropower plants as they approach completion.

However, upon commencement in 2026, the two plants are expected to generate an
additional S$6.0 million of recurring net cash income, bringing the total recurring net cash
income to approximately S$14.0 million annually.

&bull Favourable industry tailwinds continue to support the Group' s industrial automation
and renewable energy businesses, fuelled by the accelerating adoption of advanced
manufacturing, robotics and artificial intelligence, together with high conventional energy
costs and the global transition towards clean and sustainable energy

This is a very strong 1H2026 result for ISDN.
