PROPOSED CHANGE OF NAME OF THE COMPANY The board of directors (&ldquo Board&rdquo ) of Blumont Group Ltd. (' Company' and together with its subsidiaries, ' Group' ) refers to: (a) the announcement dated 21 September 2021 in relation to, inter alia, the proposed change of name of the Company from &ldquo Blumont Group Ltd.&rdquo to ' Southern Archipelago Ltd.' (' Proposed Change of Name' ) and (b) the announcements dated 15 September 2021, 29 September 2021 and 8 December 2021 in relation to, inter alia, the proposed disposal of a piece of vacant land located in Malaysia (' Proposed Disposal' ), (collectively, the ' Announcements' ). Capitalised terms not otherwise defined herein shall have the meanings respectively ascribed to them in the Announcements. The Board wishes to inform the Shareholders that additional time is required by the Company to seek guidance from the Singapore Exchange Regulation on the Proposed Change of Name. Accordingly, the Company will not be seeking Shareholders&rsquo approval for the Proposed Change of Name at the extraordinary general meeting to be convened for purposes of seeking Shareholders&rsquo approval for, inter alia, the Proposed Disposal. The Company will update its Shareholders on the Proposed Change of Name as and when appropriate. Shareholders and potential investors of the Company are advised to refrain from taking any action in respect of their securities in the Company which may be prejudicial to their interests, and to exercise caution when dealing in the shares of the Company.
