x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Wrap up on Portfolio July 2018. Portfolio show a gain of 13.2%. During the same period the ST Index show a gain 1.36% and Catalist show a loss of 26.71%. The portfolio has done better than both indices. See below: Portfolio gain 13.2% ST Index up 1.36% Catalist down 26.71% Portfolio July 2018 was started in July 2018 with 4 counters. The portfolio was based on 4 key criterias: 1. value 2. growth 3. dividend yield and 4. safety Capital gain contribute to 7.03% of profit and dividend yield 6.15, making a total return of 13.2%, way above the ST Index. Will share Portfolio 2019 when its ready. Just sharing n all the best to all! Will be sharing Portfolio 2019 shortly.

The 9 months results of S$9.1 mil has far exceeded last year full of S$8.5 mil. Company had also declared a higher interim dividend of 0.8 cts against last year 0.61 cts. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	An update on Portfolio July 2018. The portfolio has slipped into negative territory, registering a loss of 0.3%. In the same period the ST Index is down 5.55% and Catalist Index is down 22.28%. Of the 4 counters, 2 are profitable and 2 registered losses. The profitable counters are Singapore O& G and Chasen. The counters showing losses are Excelpoint and ISEC. The full year results for Excelpoint, Singapore O& G and ISEC should be out around mid feb. I am expecting the results to be a catalyse for these 3 counters as all 3 are expected to report improved results cum very decent dividends. Chasen' s 3rd quarter should be out at about the same time. If the results meet expectations, i am hopeful that the portfolio will show some profits. The annualised dividend yield for Singapore O& G and ISEC is above 5% at current price. Excelpoint, based on historical data, likely to declare a dividend of 4 cts or higher, giving a yield of around 7% or more. Above is just an update for those who follow my post. I estimate full year profit to be around S$12 mil for 2018 Compare against 2017 profits of S$8.5, the profit improvement would be: S$12 mil - S$8.5 mil. = S$3.5. An improvement of 41.1%! #2 ... Interim dividend was 0.8 cts. High probability that final dividend would be 1.0 cts as final dividend is often higher than interim. #3 ... Now may be a good time to accumulate this counter. It is currently trading near its historical 52 weeks/2 year low of 32 cts. Its 52 weeks high is 48 cts and 2 year high is 74 cts. At 34 cts it is 30% below its 52 weeks high and 54% below its 2 year high. #4 ... At present price of 34 cts, it is trading on a forward p/e of 13.5 which make it the lowest valued stock within the healthcare sector. #5 ... With an estimated annual dividend of 1.8 cts, the dividend yield is 5.2% which again is among the highest in the healthcare segment. #6 ... Company is likely to report an exceptional good set of result current year as its 9 months profit of S$9.1 mil has already exceeded last year full year profit of S$8.5 mil. #7 ... Company has no debt. It has cash horde of above S$18 mil. Presently there is not much interest in the stock n thereby provides an opportunity to buy " cheap" . Others - company has no debt, has a cash horde of S$18.0 mil. and has the one of lowest valuation among the healthcare companies. The company had increased its dividend payout. Dividend yield for current year at current price should exceed 5%. Vested ... one of my top holding
