Yeo of RHB cuts ISOTeam' s target price following FY2026 miss and slow contract wins Alfie Yeo of RHB Bank Singapore has cut his target price for ISOTeam after it disappointed with lower than expected FY2026 numbers. For the year ended June, ISOTeam' s revenue was down 11% y-o-y to $105 million, with lower contribution across the board. The lower revenue recognition was consistently characterised by a slower pace of projects, and more sluggish progression across every segment, notes Yeo, who is keeping his " neutral" call. In the same year, it generated core earnings of $4 million, which was up 50% y-o-y but still lower than what Yeo was expecting. There was a slight positive, with gross profit margin up 2.3 percentage points to 18.3%, due to lower direct costs from rental savings for its worker housing after converting some floor space at its headquarters into a workers&rsquo dormitory. EBIT was up by 21% y-o-y to $7 million in the same year. ISOTeam plans to pay a final dividend of 0.11 cents per share, which is a payout ratio of 19%. Its order book was $176 million, just 9% higher y-o-y, to be fulfilled over the next 2 to 3 years. Yeo notes that while ISOTeam' s order book has since improved from end of FY2026, the " intensity and progress" of its projects need to improve to sustain his revenue growth expectations. " As ISO has already been affected by slower project intensity in FY2026, we await its pace of projects to accelerate before turning more bullish on the stock," he says. For the current FY2027 and coming FY2028, Yeo has cut his earnings projections by 23% and 20% respectively, to reflect lower-than-expected revenue ahead. He has also raised his FY2027 gross profit margin estimates to 18.5%, which is within the company' s new tender margin target range of 15-20%. In addition, his EBIT and net margin estimates are now also slightly lower, to be more in line with the current run rate. Consequently, Yeo' s FY2027 and FY2028 earnings have been lowered by 32 and 33% respectively. After applying the same 8x blended FY2027 to FY2028 PE, he derived a new target price of 6.4 cents, down from 8.7 cents. Yeo warns that downside risks include a rise in raw material and labour costs, a slowdown in the pace and revenue recognition of projects, delay in launching ISOTeam&rsquo s drone project, and a slowdown in new order wins resulting in a weaker orderbook. ISOTeam shares last traded at 6.9 cents. It is down 13.75% year to date. |

ISOTeam' s 2HFY2026 earnings down 49% y-o-y full year dip of 4.5% ISOTeam has reported earnings of $1.6 million for its 2HFY2026, down 49% y-o-y. This brings its earnings for the full year ended June to $4.9 million, down 4.5%. Revenue for the full year dropped by 11.3% to $105.7 million, which the company explains is because of timing of recognition. Despite the weaker bottomline, ISOTeam plans to pay a final dividend of 0.11 cents per share, up from 0.08 cents paid this time last year. Anthony Koh, executive director and CEO explains that ISOTeam " prioritised quality of earnings over topline growth." " While revenue moderated in line with the timing of project completions across our core segments, we are encouraged that gross profit margin strengthened to 18.3%, mainly because of cost savings from housing some of our workers at the converted space within our head office. " Looking ahead, our $185.3 million order book and Singapore' s sustained investment in upgrading its public housing estates position ISOTeam well to capture opportunities in the built environment sector over the coming years," adds Koh. |

If anyone forgot, Ginko-AGT Global Growth Fund became a substantial shareholder upon its disclosure on 15 July, having purchased 5986600 shares at 8.5755 cents per share. Subsequently, the Company also did a placement of 86.2 million new ordinary shares at 8.1 cents apiece. The placement was taken up by prominent Institutional Investors, including Lion Global Investors, Asdew Acquisitions, ICH Capital, Ginko-AGT Growth Fund, Areca Capital and Azure Capital. I called this counter our " HDB Painter" and the good thing is their biz should be recurring since many BTOs will spring up and the HDB refurbisment painting is every 5-7 years. Not too sure how successful is their drone painting now? This will cut down labour cost and in line with gov to go automation. As long they can gain gov trust to do a decent job, their biz is quite secured. With director skin in the game is added assurance. Vested. |
