Did Hotung write down this as well?
Sequoia has since written down its investment in Graphcore to zero, although it remains on the company?s board, according to a source familiar with the relationship. The write-down was first reported by Insider in October. The Graphcore spokesperson confirmed the setbacks, but said the company was ?perfectly positioned? to take advantage of accelerating commercial adoption of AI. |

I had sold out a while back at 1.80$ forgoing the run up above $2 and also dividends for the year as I think Hotung has too much exposure to greater china markets. I expect to dip back to possibly $1.30 range in the coming global recession, would be a good time to accumulate again.

Hotung Investment Holdings
Between Aug 15 and 16, Hotung Investment Holdings (HIHL) : BLS -1.71% chairman and CEO, Tsui-Hui Huang, acquired 110,000 shares of the company at an average price of S$1.77 per share.
With a consideration of S$194,188, this increased her deemed interest from 22.61 per cent to 22.73 per cent.
Huang who was elected chairman and CEO of HIHL in July 2010, began her career in mergers and acquisitions with Bankers Trust Company in 1988.
The group&rsquo s net asset value per share as of Jun 30, 2022 was NT$63.89, down from NT$66.40 as of the end of 2021, and NT$64.61 as of the end of 2020.

surprised nobody is talking about this company. results came out yesterday evening and it was solid. earnings bumped up again for the third consecutive year. dividends up 25% yoy. cash balance doubled from a year ago. cash per share is now $1! that' s half of the share price today! ex. cash PE is 3.6x this is a gem of a stock at bargain prices |

As i mentioned below on jun 1st. The profits from the ipo of IKKA will contribute to significant profits for this year. So we can expect another 10% + dividend based on current price next year when the full year results is announced. Share price remains undervalued probably due to lack of analyst coverage but that is where the opportunity comes for retail investors. Buy cheap before it jump up closer to NAV | ||||

Hotung half year 2021 results out -profit good at TWD345m. Assume same profit for 2nd half, FY profit is 690m (vs 521m for FY 2020). PE is only 5x plus only. NAV is S$3. Dividend is around 10%. I wonder why Volume so low? Why fund never discover this good stock? |
