GLP delists from SGX

SINGAPORE (Jan 22): GLP, the provider of modern logistics facilities and technology-led solutions, today delisted from the Singapore Exchange (SGX) as it completes its privatisation process.

Following the group&rsquo s delisting, it will be changing its name to GLP Pte Ltd.

GLP is owned by a consortium of international long-term investors, who manage capital for sovereign wealth funds, university endowments and pension plans from North America, Asia and Europe.

The consortium is fully aligned with GLP management&rsquo s vision to enhance its best-in-class global operating, development and fund management capabilities by creating a logistics ecosystem that utilises the latest technology, data and service offerings to drive value for customers.

Ming Mei, co-founder and CEO of GLP says, &ldquo We are focused on sustainable value creation through our logistics ecosystem. Alan Yang, chief investment officer of GLP says, &ldquo Our long-term strategy remains the same. That is to be the best operator in our markets, create value through developments and use our fund management platform to support strategic expansion.&rdquo

 Alert Admin 		looks like GLP kept to their by 19 Jan payout schedule, my GLP custodian bank, Citibank, got paid today and managed to transfer my portion to my accont this evening. My understanding is that the custodian banks were paid today, and the bank internal processes determine how soon the account holder get paid for their GLP shares. ka ching $$$

Payment will be made about the same time dividend is usually credited into your account.

From previous buyout experience, those who hold the shares in CDP will get paid on same day the $ is transferred, while those who have their shares thru' custodian banks, etc,.. may get delayed a day (at least) in this GLP case by 22 Jan (since 19th is a Friday). Its been a long wait for this ' pay day' , and is worth every single cents of it !

 Alert Admin 		Just wondering if any other ordinary shareholder has received the GLP payout before the stipulated date 19/1/2018, since the Company Directors had given Notification in the change in Interests (Securities and Futures Act Cap .289, Regulations 2012) and we assumed they have been paid on 10/1/2018 as the their Direct interest in the company is deemed  0 after the transaction.
