Joelton      ( Date: 13-Aug-2026 10:59) Posted: Riverstone&rsquo s 2QFY2026 net profit up 60.2% y-o-y to RM65.8 mil, declares interim dividend of 5 sen Riverstone Holdings (Riverstone) (SGX:AP4) has reported a net profit of RM65.8 million for 2QFY2026 ended June 30, up 60.2% q-o-q. For 1HYF2026, net profit was up by 5% y-o-y to RM106.9 million. Revenue for 2QFY2026 was up by 24.5% q-o-q to RM266.7 million, driven by stronger cleanroom glow demand. However, for 1HFY2026, revenue was down by 3.2% y-o-y, largely due to softer numbers from 1QFY2026 and unfavourable foreign exchange translation from a weaker US dollar against the Malaysian ringgit. Gross profit grew 54.8% q-o-q to RM96 million in 2QFY2026, with gross profit margin improved 7 percentage points to 36%. The higher margin was due to improved healthcare pricing in the second quarter, while cleanroom pricing remained stable. For 1HFY2026, gross profit margin stood at 32.9%, an improvement of 3.2 percentage points. General and administrative expenses eased 7.1% y-o-y to RM18.0 million for 1HFY2026 on lower staff-related costs, while selling and distribution expenses declined 2.7% y-o-y to RM7.2 million. Effective tax rate increased to 23% in 1HFY2026, compared to 22.4% a year ago, mainly due to lower reinvestment allowances during the period As at June 30, Riverstone&rsquo s cash and cash equivalents stood at RM576 million, compared to RM630.4 million as at Dec 31, 2025, largely due to payment of FY2025 final dividend and special interim dividend. Riverstone&rsquo s board of directors has recommended a interim dividend of 5 sen for 1HFY2026, which translates to a dividend payout ratio of 69.3%. &ldquo The group continues to strengthen its long-term positioning through the timely renewal of ageing production lines, supporting our strategy of shifting away from low-margin generic production towards higher-value cleanroom and customised healthcare solutions. Meanwhile, healthcare glove ASPs continue to remain competitive due to ample supply of generic gloves. However, we expect Riverstone to continue enjoying healthy margins given its focus on highly customised products,&rdquo Tang adds. On the dividend payout, Riverstone&rsquo s management has committed to maintaining above 100% dividend payout ratio, supported by its sizeable net cash position, debt-free balance sheet and healthy operating cash flow generation. &ldquo This provides sufficient financial flexibility to sustain attractive shareholder returns despite near-term earnings and forex volatility, while continuing to fund its operational and expansion requirements,&rdquo the analyst states. Meanwhile, Riverstone&rsquo s management expects raw material prices of butadiene and acrylonitrile to moderate in 3QFY2026 following the sharp rise earlier this year due to the Iran war. &ldquo Riverstone does not hedge raw material prices, but instead manages cost fluctuations through regular pricing discussions with customers, with selling prices typically negotiated around two months in advance. The anticipated easing in input costs, together with higher ASPs, should be supportive of margin expansion,&rdquo Tang adds. US side no more active cases. australia also no more. only 1 case with mild disease left in canada under strict  quarantine. so like that is this scare will likely finished this week along with riverstone share price will dip back to 70c i reckon.  Riverstone recently also revenue or profit down, and high oil price will affect their glove raw material costs. i expect next few quarter not so good also. So unless long term play I would be taking profit.

Pretty sure irrelevant passenger still got infected. They all stay in the same cabin? Sound like as long prolong period together in a closed space does spread. Which is everywhere nowdays.
