x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Before APLL divestment in Feb, NOL had split up it asset holded by APL liner and APL logistic, 2 separate companies. This made it easier to sell away the asset since the debt is hold by the parent company NOL. With this in view, and checking NOL financial balance sheet u would find APL asset value is well worth over US$5.5B, that comprise of 34 new ships, 1.1 mil container boxes, 8 port terminals, liner train, service yard etc. The debt for buying the new ships asset is hold by the parent company NOL which is about US$5B.  This meant buyer for APL could either buy off the subsidary APL from NOL without the debt incurred or straight going for the parent company with debt incured. Post APLL divestment NOL parent company debt to cash ratio would be halve from 2.25X to 1.0X in effect the total cash reserve hold would be enough to cover all the debt outstanding. Left or Right no matter which way u look, Temasek cannot sell NOL cheaply like what reported in media. Lot of potential for maximum reward if u can hold out till the deal is done. i give it 3-6 months with reference from APLL divestment time frame. IT just lot of rumors flying around for now since temasek put NOL on open market sale due to low price bid by G6 members. Maersk, CMA, Cosco etc all those big players who need to expand their market diversification would be in limelight. By the way NOL lose money is not fault of the company, it the scholar ceo who cannot perform. He should be the one to go first and not issue some shit in sunday covering his own ass. Even temasek is giving up on him lol , that is what scholar thing in singapore need to go away.

Investors need a longer term mindset and advised to use CPF to pick up nearer the low of 0.875 and then sit it out till any deal can materialised. Next Monday will be due date for many who chased the stock to 0.965 yesterday and contra losses will be due!

Share shoot up 10% on opening then slow down to 8% but still sizeable gain. There would be more upside than downside as temasek and nol did not outright deny the report. So it another repeat case of APLL sale. Media reported temasek plan to sell away it stake in NOL for US$1.7B which most likely is the minimum base as in the case of APLL $600M reported. HIgh chance the actual figure might be higher than what is being reported. Cross ur finger and wait for more news coming , by the way difficult to trade as it is a short covering trade not much buying as NOL cannot hold on the intial 10% surge so don go in and get killed in action. Let see tomorrow if the short covering momentum continued.. then we planned our move gonna be very careful now since anything big can happen anytime.

x 0   x 1  Alert Admin	My view only: the recent trans pacific pact which is signed is a big thing for singapore. go read yesterday night i have studied NOL. below are few things likely to favour NOL. 1) low oil price likely to persist. running cost will be lower. 2) 60% of the world goods and services are transported by means of sea. With singapore location we are ideal center to distribute goods around the globe. this is something that cannot be replace in 10 to 20 years. especially when trans pacific pact is signed 3) group has been focusing on returning to profit. they sizing down their fleets. 4) major shareholder wish to sell it stake and i believe their min price will be 1.10 and price maybe even higher when their coming FY report return to profit. i think... the worst is over for NOL and price maybe good to buy on weakness around 85 to 90 cents my personal target is 1.30 good luck.... Post APLL divestment in 2Q15 31 Jul 2015, the new NAV = US$1.01 or S$1.35 - 1.40 depending on US exchange rate. Actually no investors would gonna sell his holding after this sale news leaked out, all just holding till the final call. Volume would be weak and shortist who can cover would be covering in the next few weeks. Difficult to do trade anyway with low volume, gona enjoy the show and see how the shortist dies. APL was probably sold as the debt was probably sky high with tons of interest to pay and need to cut debt, that' s why NOL sold off APL to reduce debt either by payment or mortgage via paper play probably...
