Cos all the high-end lose already never pay bad debts. That' s why huge mountain of debt not collected. Wonder if they will ever manage to collect even 5 - 10% of it. So, whether GS px up or down depend on whether this qtr some of the debt put up for write off or not. If not, maybe px up 5 - 10%.

Agree. A lot of people like to travel by rail to cut short the time required for checking-in etc. Being beside the rail is definitely a good development for a mass-market segment customer profile. I see growth potential in this.

No need near airport already a lot of people will probably opt for HSR cos so much hassle travelling by air. Also, wld people consider HSR a less risky transport mode? I think so.

From now till HSR completed, will be slow as the whole area is still developing. It might take a year or two to see black for this hotel as i estimate the occupany rate wont be high at the start and upkeep costs are high. Overseas projects are still too far away to factor into the share price now |

Jurong Genting rated as 3 star hotel only, it target middle class tourist from msia... the financial report will be out by 14-05-2015, i think shd be good, no wonder share price stay very firm recently.

Dun get me wrong. Just wonder why 5 stars hotel in jurong. If you are tourist who can afford 5 stars hotel, which will be your first choice:orchard ,town, sentosa or jurong?

According to news report, the HSR terminus will be at Jurong CC site and hence next to Genting Jurong hotel...quite positive.
