I think market is so bad that now is ROTATIONAL PLAY in the sense that those counters that have not drop much , now kana dumped. During bull run, is those counters not pumped will be next to be pumped In this bearish market, is those counters not dumped will be next to be dumped. So I think nothign wrong with Bakertech, is just tat the share price never dropped much, now is time to catch up .. |

Maybe today is the last day to exercise the warrants (there is still a few million outstanding the last time I checked) . So maybe create some panic to cause the warrants to expire unexercised.

This company currently is a mostly cash company, it does not own offshore assets like rigs or platforms, neither is it in the drilling business. So there is no risk of asset values being written down. On the other hand, it is building the liftboat technological capabilities (own designs) which cater to very shallow water (like 65m), which production platforms need. This should be in time to catch the expected recovery in the second half.

If I remembered correctly even when oil price is above $80 level, its share price still struck at this 25 cts level. Even oil price recent plunge below $45 level, Baker shares price also never slide too much. It never even hits 21 cts at all. Seem to me, Baker tech shares price has been stagnant at this current level for a long time already. It does not follow the trend of the oil price much.

Furthermore, as crude oil prices start rising, the whole oil and gas sector may get a relook by market players. Dr Benety Chang is an old hand in the rigs business. He is building up his liftboat expertise, obviously with a view to sell off the business unit when the OnG sector gets hot again. |

Company has 19.1 cents net cash, so you are paying 6 cents for the other businesses and a listed entity. Not bad I would say.
