just think that Genting Management shall not care about share price so much. Since has secured Jeju Island resort and waiting for Japan bid, Genting shall just let the price to find a supporting level herself and keep the money for future expansion. With the cash and projects on hand, Genting share hardly free fall. |

what ever it is. anything below $1 is cheap. they have been in this line for so long, they know their maths well. if nt they close long ago and wont open 1 after another. |

Based on FY14 EPS of 0.0421 Gent can pay 0.03 but are they willing to pay? Mgt always guided big overseas ambition and must preserve cash thus issued the perpetual bond paying. 5.125% coupon amounting to $117.875 m bad for ordinary shareholder.

share buy back is not really a good venture ... receive own interest at 1 cent but pay 5.25% for the Notes |

well at least on the bright side of it, they have saved $1.7mil in dividends from their share buyback activity, although they spent about $170mil to do the buy back. |

2 years ago they issued PNotes ( around 100 mio ) to funds their projects paying very high interest at 5.25 % , if they dun redeem after 5 years they gotta increase the interest to 5.75 % to 6.25 % Seem like the funds not in proper used , may be they did utilised part of in for share buy back .. ( NOT TOO SURE ) .. The rate rather on the high side ..

They spent 122m on 1 cents dividend. Every year they repay few hundred million.... let say they make 500m profit the worst results. are u so sure they cant pay 3c dividend... 122 x 3 = 366m....
Genting is cash rich....

Its amazing that there are still so many bullish post encouraging others to buy when the road ahead is so rocky. If you had attended the AGM, you will know the 1 cent dividend is here to stay. |

Below 1 dollar Buy for long term ok la.... it free of debt soon.... then the extra money will go to dividend.... expected 3 cents dividend from next year.... and korea jeju will rock ....
Keep dropping is a buy..... i am not trading lol but hold for long term..... Target 1.80 to 2.00..... |
