Reason is Stats is not only handling the backend business of GF, it is also doing all the dirty works for GF. Formerly served as a CEO in Motorola Mobile Device Business in 4th August 2008. Maybe he wants to expand business by tapping what Stats having now Apple A8 chips. Also GF website....fast facts.....expenditure in 2014/2105  :   $9B - $10B in USA, Germany and Singapore.
