Good luck and just hope for the best since your money is with them ... the overpaid part should be consulted before the purchase and not after ...if they overpaid shareholders can only LL since its already cooked rice. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nnp3iNORrNE Just hope China dun hiccup or WHB will ruin the conservative bank image OCBC took years to build.... If my history classes was right OCBC was the formation of some 3 other banks during an over leveraged situation sometime back when there was no TDSR cheers!

let me try. rights are for the existing share holders to have the right to buy new shares. new shares can be private placement. so existing share holders cannot get. |

OCBC is SOLID like a rock. After all the neg view for the take over of WH bank ...and NOT forgeting a 17 cents dividend ( just XD) it still put on 23 cents as of now ...: ))

OCBC Q1 net profit up 29% on record total income
 OCBC reported on Wednesday a 29 per cent rise in its first quarter net profit over the year, on the back of record total income. Net profit for the three months ended March 31, 2014 stood at S$899 million, up compared to S$696 million posted a year ago. This beat analysts' estimates of a quarterly net profit of S$735 million, a Bloomberg poll showed. Total income was up 19 per cent over the year to S$1.89 billion, boosted by both higher net interest income and fee income. |
