Based on my understanding, the first offer is not gd enough and there are other offers on hand, which should be better else they would have taken up the first offer. So this is actually good news, there are more buyers with better offers. Should buy more to keep and hold for better offers!!!! Huat arh |

wah today missed the fun...lucky yesterday unloaded ...... yes read the article release...still have chances la....ppl dont read properly n hear short short all dump with fear.....in the end still have ppl scoop cheap and wait..... stay sideline....n monitor next few weeks

STATS ChipPAC falls by as much as 15% as takeover talks break down
SHARES in semiconductor firm STATS ChipPAC fell by as much as 15 per cent on Thursday after it said that its discussions with a third party interested in taking over the company had been discontinued. Its share price fell to as low as 55.5 cents from the opening price of 65 cents. But the loss-making firm, which is 84 per cent owned by Temasek Holdings, said talks with other parties keen in acquiring a stake were still continuing. " There is no assurance that any such discussions will result in any definitive agreement or transaction," the company said. |

when there are obvious past patterns for you to study and you still think history wont be repeated, that is not dreaming anymore. Dreaming is for those counters with good fundamentals. When you know that this is a moribund sector, competitive industry & no earnings growth story, why risk it this way? once go down to 30c, it will take u v v long for it to move back up again. Haisss. |

why is it so much when a counter can run 30+% in one day but for it to come off 25% is a lot? must always remember to see things in perspective. |

i have told u guys i have seen this counter BBs do this kind of pump & dump many times past few years liao. See 60c die die must sell. There is a pattern for you to observe. Still time to cut loss now. Dont tee kee, DONT hope for the best, dont buy on dips. Wait till 30c.
