Even rank among top volume! From daily 1-3 hundred lots the most to 12k lots. What is brewing? I notice marriage deal at 124 before it spike to intraday high of 143 though.

Paul Tan, an independent director of Serial System, bought 97,000 shares of the company on 29 April at 13.8 cents apiece, raising his stake to 197,000 shares. He has been an ID of Serial since 2011, and is MD of accounting firm CA Trust Pac. Serial is riding on a momentum in revenue and earnings growth as it executes a new enhanced business strategy to gain higher profit margins on higher revenue in the semiconductor distribution business. Meanwhile, Serial chairman and CEO, Derek Goh, is showing no sign of stopping in his steady accumulation of Serial shares. His 12th and latest purchase this year (of 158,000 shares) was made on 29 April, taking his holding to 339,042,698 shares or a 37.85% stake in the company. So far this year, he has bought 5.145 million shares for about S$700,000. Serial independent director also buying recently. Company profit margin is low but the company is still growing. Recently invested business will generate additional $1mil in profit per year. Fair price should be much higher than the current 13.8 cents. 1 broker fair price recommendation is $0.19. Good dividend yield of between 5 to 8% per annual. Vested. |

Oh ya, last week don' t know who push up the price till 15 cents, until no seller before it retreat to 145,144 and closed on 142 or I think, 140. 1000k volume. So someone see the share worth 15 cents. |

Mr Derek bought again at 138. He now own almost 38% of the company if I recall correctly. 1% margin or thereabout is the norm in this industry. This is a steady ship and if Mr Derek keep buying I am assured. Xd in a few days time and payout on 19.5.14 if I remember correctly. Only 2 points I am a bit unhappy, 1) the gearing went up and 2) employee share option with up to 15% discount. Gearing up could be due to business expansion/cost still OK, give share discount of up to 15%? I will be watching serial like a hawk and if I think the grant has no merit, I will take action. Vested. |

This company is walking on a very thin line. With latest quarterly report last Saturday stated revenue of $212 mil, it's net profit is only $2.1 mil.
So what if the company's top man repeatedly say he want to achieve $1 bil revenue by end-2014. A jump in cost, a mistake or external risk can send this company into the abyss. |

Yes he bought on 20.2.14 again at average price 132. Now his holding about 34%. Even though boss buying is good but I would love to see private fund buying as well.
