The U.S. Federal Reserve's $85 bil/mth bond buying has fed a steady stream of cash into emerging markets in recent years. But speculation over the potential tapering of  such program, has intensified in recent months, leading to a spike in risk aversion and heavy outflows from emerging markets in recent times.

Stock mkts in Thai, Philippines and Indonesia have erased considerable gains made this year, while Nikkei has fallen 20% in the past few weeks.

Expect to see yoma hitting 1.1 to 1.2 soon. This stock is different from just pure speculation. There are too many interest from funds wanting to get in and any dips are buying opportunities as you can see recently.

I also expect digicel to stand a excellent chance of securing the mobile phone licence due to their much earlier engagement in Mynamar and the ground work done. In adddition, those bold claims they make will surely send rattle and  high spotlight  to the asssesors granting the licence.

 Alert Admin 		i was never expecting bernanke to taper the QE as he had mentioned it will be considered if unemployment rate is below 7%.. this tapering sentiment is just an excuse for a correction.. dunno if investors are really jittery about the QE tapering, or just the media that has caused this jitters.. dow jones havent really correct though.. they are still in their la la land.. i dont see how dow jones should hit record high when the economic conditions now are not better than before the 2008 crisis high.. we asians are more cautious & had factored this possible tapering into the market..

 Alert Admin 		Suspect all stocks will correct till Fed announcement on 20th june. Mr ben will likely say the same thing. So u see he just need to be consistently confusing so that his consistency in record stays. Then handover to his next successor make the last decision to unwind.

Once pple get used to these news of unwinding, everything will go as usual. Pple are not fearful anymore once they are scared by the same ghost everyday.

I agreed Yoma is still a good company but s/t is very volatile. I'll go in when it goes lower and keep for long term.

This counter is very fragile and weak these few days, maybe still at consolidation stages. I just disposed all my 90 lots 0.955, net net losses about $800 plus, but still ok lah, 不 幸 中 的 大 幸 。

Brothers I suggest no more play on this counter until the market is stable. Plus don't forget today is FRIDAY AND HALF A DAY IS ALREADY GONE. If you're at a loss, cut it and wait for better opportunity.

This is my personal opinion, maybe I'm wrong.
