The key difference is both are fundamentally different offerings - RWS is more of an " integrated resort" with all the significant capex on family-related offering with USS, Oceanarium, etc in addition to a casino. MBS is essentially a high-end shopping mall + casino. RWS probably deserves an " experience premium" but market only rewards or penalizes share price based on financials.

Might be but currently it don make sense to see such a big difference between duopoly casinos. We could only find what is different between the two. Higher rollers are staying away from Genting because of uncertainty in obtaining the gaming license from the Government, so they go to MBS to gamble and visit other casinos? After securing the license, the higher rollers will move back to Genting?

Nothing much to deliver in 2026 and they just finish 2025 assessment.
Sg gov very efficient so might deliver early notice.
Anyway getting renewal is almost guarantee it just 2 or 3 year.

RWS2.0 gona be self fund and dividend/SBB put up to defend stock price. it gona be a battle of endurance between shorting and investing. See if result would be improved once circleline new stations open jul12 and casino renewal later. New circle stations to link up harbourfront and bayfront. |
