Depressed price makes it cheaper to take GentingS private.  Even if privatization fails, Genting Group will have more shares after the exercise, giving them more shares of GentingS dividend in the future. BBs short already will send " gloom leaders" to talk bad about genting to force the price down, to scare innocent investors into selling. Maybe 68 cents i start buying... always when u see suddenly got cheer leaders in this thread, u better not buy,  and when u see gloom leaders in this thread, u better start buying. Easy money har, cheer leaders accumulate at 72-73 then suddenly appear to post good news then dump at 80 cents. Innocent investors will hold the babies. If this so called potential special dividend is a factor, share price would have risen since  Dec last year. The current share price rising is just a normal share price trend. It happened last year too. In Feb before result, share price will rise to around 79-80 and then drop again until hit low in April. So clever ones will be dumping now and wait to load again in April

Through this result we know the revenue from cash pile fixed income drop a lot and the balance sheet got cleaned up. See if genS follow through with value unlock plan before AGM.

Earnings per share dropped to SG$0.0323 compared with SG$0.0479 in the year-ago period. Revenue dropped 3% year over year to SG$2.45 billion from SG$2.53 billion. The leisure, hospitality and integrated resorts development specialist declared a final dividend of SG$0.02 per share for the period, which was paid on May 27, 2025.

Everything is so positive and on top of it, you are assured of dividend yield of at least 5% per share annually, and the company is still making profits. investors just need to have patience and in no hurry to be greedy, that' s all. Then just 1-2 days before results out, DUMP. Happened last year ..happens again this year. Then every year ESR-Reit results lousy, they quietly " forget" of their  high TP and then lower their TP. They have been doing so for 8 years!!!. 8 years every year WRONG prediction and yet they pretend nothing happened and continue to issue TP for ESR-reit. Face Palm la.
