I think Observers was talking about rights issue after the spin off. Senior Ren did mentioned during EGM that they are proposing 2 for 10 rights issue at attractive price shortly after spin off. As to whether it will be a reounceable rights issue or not is still unclear. |

if u made money on it then don' t repent. good luck. I liquated all my YZJF holdings around .78. Made money on it, but I am not kicking myself that I did not held it more. IF you have not lost money then don' t sigh and procastrinate. there is always future with more oppurtunities. plenty of good quality stocks into correction right now, can always pick some up :-).

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding's business outlook appears upbeat, Daiwa Capital Markets analysts say, citing a recent call with the company's management. $YZJ Shipbldg SGD (BS6.SG)$ The shipbuilder is riding on strong demand for containership feeders, the analysts note. Its small-sized containership orders have outperformed, rising more than 60% on year for the first 8 months of 2025, the analysts say. Yangzijiang Shipbuilding looks well-placed to capture robust feeder demand thanks to the wavier of upcoming U.S. port fees on China ships and earlier available delivery slots. Daiwa lifts its 2025-2027 EPS forecasts for the company by 7%-41%. It raises the stock's target price to S$3.90 from S$3.35, with an unchanged buy rating. Maersk is said to want its order for six 18k teu dual fuel LNG boxship finalized by next month. The remaining six can be finalized as per original Nov25 or later. Maersk rarely give their order to just one yard. That is to say, YZJ is unlikely to win the entire 12 vessels contract. As to the intention to upgrade the capacity to 22k teu ships, time constraint means the first six ships should still be just 18k teu. Any increase in capacity can only be considered for the remaining six vessels. There were instances Hapag Lloyd picked just one yard to do the job. However, it is still likely YZJ will only get either the twelve 12-13k teu ships order or the six 16k teu ships contract. YZJ need not win everything from both of them. Just half of each would be enough to push their full year order near to USD 5 Bn! |

HAPAG LLOYD SHIP ORDER UPDATES $YZJ Shipbldg SGD (BS6.SG)$ Hapag-Lloyd is in discussions with a number of yards for up to twelve 12,000 to 13,000 teu ships and eight 16,000 teu vessels worth US$2.1B. Last orders of Hapag-Lloyd was 12 ultra-large containerships of 16,800 TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units) from Yangzijiang Shipbuilding worth US$2B.
