Most likely 1h result in Aug not good so market sell down in advance. Wait till bottom is found then load in post 1h result as july to sep period typical sellers months. |

It is however subjected to the tourist receipts and footfall as that drives growth and it hasnt grown as much. Hopefully with the new openings in 2H, that will catalyse a recovery in the share price performance.

What they need to do is to shock the market and short sellers by distributing some of the SGD 3 billion cash hoard they have built up as a special dividend or excess cash surplus return or excess capital return. Or do a massive share buy back. Even SGD 500 million distributed or buy back would make a big big difference - like 5 cents per share, or 5 percent of share capital? People will then think that they treat minority shareholders fairly. Should raise this up. | ||||
