LONG SHORT NOT SHORT TER Our View Good entry point for longer-term investors.  Yangzijiang&rsquo s share price, which corrected c.35% from high of SGD3.30 in Feb-2025 prior to the USTR news has barely recovered despite the de-escalation of US tariff and watered-down USTR actions that is not expected to impact Chinese shipyard materially. Trading at steep discounts of 6x FY25 PE and 1.5x P/Bv (vs Korea and Chinese peers&rsquo double-digit PE and > 2x PB) despite more superior 24% ROE and 6% dividend yield (vs peers&rsquo 15-20% ROE and negligible dividend yield), we believe market has over-penalised Yangzijiang and priced in the worse than current market slowdown. Yangzijiang is well-positioned to weather the temporary market turbulence, supported by its robust orderbook that provides revenue visibility extending to 2028, despite the near-term sluggish pace of new orders, as well as strong balance sheet with c.SGD1.10/share of net cash. Reiterate BUY and TP SGD3.80 (2.5x FY25 PB implied 11x FY25 PE). Re-rating catalysts could come from revived ordering for large containerships as well as stronger margins and earnings growth in upcoming results. Key earnings risk to watch would be USD / CNY trend.
