Currently anchor at 0.47-0.475 range, just wait for tariff drama to blow over then yzjfh continue it recovery. STI though had recovered from initial tariff sell wave as it currently is a fight among Canada, Mexico and America. |

china can tax oil, gas at 10% to retaliate. canada will need to find new buyer of oil like china, probably at a discount which still better then 25% reduction from international price. import/export is not charity. trump is just doing his best to balance their gov income/spending which is good for all in long term. the bargain process will continue. talks about factories closing etc are extreme. there will be a process of adjustment. as longas there is price different of making in us versus other country the trade continue. sure targetd countries suffer a bit as they are paying fo us spending indirectly. |

the natural thing to happen is the exchange rate. as there will be lesser demand for the targeted countries. take canada. last year 1 usd to 1.35 cad now 1.48 that is drop of 9.6 %. sure the product price may fall . commodities like oil will be discounted by the tax as buyer will not pay more for commodities. net us gain tax $. canada lost exchange rate which will make import more expensive. commodities price will suffer versus us/international price. world still continue. |

I like to express a positive outlook: Federal lacks reputation, the world won't be fooled by them. They verbally talked up and talked down the mkts with regards to inflation is a short term measure. Who accounted for its huge financial debt in trillions. It is a time bomb for USA mkts. China will massively ban USA goods, getting alternative resources from the bric countries. Tariffs will hurt the USA more. USD and USA mkts will decline slowly. YZJFH, a mild correction at 47 is completed, will continue its upsurge journey. Firstly hitting 49c then following 51c to begin with a new wave cycle. Let's see. | ||||

Recent price movements is the sign that the upcoming results should be a vastly improve one, especially if the price challenge 50 cents and above from now till results release, which is expected to be by end of February. Hope to see at least 2.5 cents dividend and share price establishing firm base at 50 cents or higher. The very first SBB is 51 cents so it would be a good sign if share price hit above that level and we see that SBB is being conducted at 51 cents and or higher level. The management has demonstrated for the past couple of years that they would defence the share price if it hit a level that is too undervalued, that is 51 cents before business mandate to Maritime sector so we can expect management to take action post result release if share price is stagnant and does not reflect the company' s value. Though the picture seems postive, the geopolitical tensions and anti Chinese sentiment from the West still cannot be ignored. In China, tthe Western countries are finding scapegoat or excuses for whatever shortcoming they are facing but investors shouldn' t be scared or foolded by the Western propanganda. Since the 90s, Western media have been running headlines suggesting the demise of China ecomomy on yearly basis [those interested can google] but China has been through countless crisis and each time emerge stronger. It is a balance that YZJF' s long term portfolio aim to be 50/50 within and outside China. | ||||
