While the chance is probably 50/50, I placed a bid at the higher 0.415 just sec before 17.04pm and managed to get all my 45k fill at 0.41. Very fun to execute and save enough from the spread difference to buy breakfast everyday for 2 months+ of Kaya/butter toast kopi egg breakfast set at Koufu ... ha ha, I learn something new. Thank you.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	As far as SBB is concerned, we knew that YZJF tried to defend the price shortly after spin off and the first ever SBB was on 9 June 2022 at 51 cents for 1m shares. This SBB defence did not work as the price drop all the way to 28.5 cents on 23 Oct 2023 despite relentless SBB but YZJF did not give up, they embarked on business transformation and at the same time, payout decent dividends. The SBB stopped on 16 Apr 2024 at the buy back price of 32 cents. Somehow, without the SBB, the price did not slide back toward 30 cents and instead, managed to hover around 32 to 35 cents before shot up to 40 cents in late Sep 2024. Who would thought SBB would restart at 40 cents level since there was no SBB between Apr and Sep 24 when the prices were way lower? But YZJF did start to buy back share again on 13 Nov 2024 at average price of 39.78 cents and it has been mopping up shares at about 40 cents level via SBB since then till 28 Nov 2024. Now the SBB has restarted again for just 2 days so it is unlikely to stop any time soon till perhaps 1 month before the expected FY results in late Feb 2025. This SBB manoeuvre is another way of sending singals to the investing community that management is confident. YZJF has done the SBB when prices were on the way down, let' s hope that they now do the reversal and conduct more aggressive SBB when prices are on the way up. Let' s hope to see SBB announcements at 51 cents and above in due course in year 2025.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	just have to be steady to hold this long term. it is trading at unfair discount to nta.the nta is producing return at the lowest level 5-6%. DI 8%, maritime 10%, stock investment ??? like black sesame type could be many x return. sbb and write off. money already spend at time of sbb. as long as it is using profit to do sbb it will not hurt growth. only 5 months to go before dividend so sbb is a good choice of using money. some might be tempted to sell and move money else where as it has outperformed the overall market by not going down when other shares are going down. usdsgd drop to 1.36 will also help in the fy profit.

One thing is clear from the start is that they wanted to scale down on debt investment, it is just that with the big pile of cash, they really have taken their time to decide what to do with it and now, Maritime businesses seem to be the area that YZJF will focus on. They still have large cash pile even with some fund going into Maritime businesses so the opportunities are still there to put the money into good use. This will take time and rightly so as it seems reckless to put thousand of millions into something too quickly without study and comprehend all the risks. The repeated message to long holder is just be patience lah while enjoying the dividends.
