One may follow the other, or people may not just bother what it's past return was. It almost sounded like a buy call to me based on returns extrapolation. Sadly, almost all analysts have prejudices, except maybe for the computer and AI. But again, the one who designed the software has biases. So, come on Share Junction and meet others to gain a consensus and balanced view. Bears have blindspots and that is why we always need to DYODD. Saviorforever is surely right whenever he signs off. Read Simply Wallstreet but DYODD

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Thanks for the advice   I agree that SIA is not in crisis but the recent and sudden SIA price drop was a " crisis" to many investors.    Think many investors are  still in crisis and alert mode until the price has improved.     Agreed also Simple Wallstreet is not always neutral but isn' t most analysts or experts always write with something in their mind? Just write to point out that Simple WallStreet was not wrong to point out the 17% shareholder return.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Methinks there was no crisis for the airline since reporting for 9M except for those who bought at the peak just before result release. The crisis for the airline has passed. A new dawn beckons. Now, it is merely expectations of how well this airline will perform. And the market had been too overly enthusiastic about SIA profits. Look around at other major airline profits. SIA should be in line. A crisis of missed expectations perhaps. But that won't hurt the airline. It shows steady growth. Care must also be taken when reading info from simply wall st and similar blogs. They are not entirely neutral and have their biases when writing about what they don't like about the stock. Don't agree with everything they say. And here, it is some angmoh website assessing SIA. Are they reading Qantas into SIA? Trade with modest expectations but no crisis.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	The price action in the past week is showing that the crisis caused by the brief financial report is almost over and the price is fighting to stay above the red trendline that has been guiding the price since October 2022. It is lightening to see the price has now crossed the 20MA.  It has just lost the 50 MA crossing yesterday but it is likely  regain and secure the crossing as the US market performed quite well last night.  Likely that the investors will be looking more at 17%  shareholder returns that was reported by Simple WallStreet article
