Investors get peanut shells. Where is the mantra of increasing shareholder values. I think trust with genuine retail investors is broken, now mostly speculators. Couple that with bbs and funds manipulations, who would want to risk their money by investing long term. Just my opinion, I may be wrong. Coupled with a 'dismay' dividend of 2 cents did not help the cause either. But even with a higher dividend, GS would still fall, probably to a lesser extent. We can blame management but greed is always at play, no winners, just the lesser of the two evil.
