 Alert Admin 		Besides, for those who is not familar with the recent TCP issues, please read up at SGInvestors analayst reports at your available time, not 1 but few to verify on the impact and its activation, with the Company prospect read out.

Just for sharing, there must be a baseline to read up to understand the Company, not agar agar. However at individual taste and risks. Stock market is still about emotion at some aspect. The price might drop again, or rise, is a guessing game and manipulation at times.

Currently I think the Global situation is MORE tough then this broker view .
1. US CHINA relationship is definately getting worst . Control on either side is one thing after another. 
2. Yes clean energy is the future ....BUT BUT ...most countries like India Russia goes for food/survival first...clean or burning coal ...they will continue 
( things will slow down IF the global situation continue as it is ....a divide world ....US/EU/Japn against China/Russia/Iran .......)
3. Singapore will be affected ....we are a tiny red dot that depends on Global market ....countries like us on the fence can ONLY do so much . VERY lucky we have a great government which cushion and cushion the worst. ( like pandemic n recession) . See situation in Msia and Thailand 
( Why 1 : 3.45 Xchange ??  ) 
4. Whatever is Q2 result ( which Spore banks and other might still be OK ) .....situation might turn very bad IF US CHINA fiction escalate to nex lever. REALLY HOPE NOT 

So best is proceed w caution ...see the situation clearer .

Read in today' s CIMB daily review that a foreign broker initiating underweight call on Sembcorp. Anyone read the report?

CGS-CIMB Highlights
* OCBC (OCBC SP)  We expect softer qoq earnings in 2Q23F. NIMs could start tapering as risk-off momentum weighs on wealth management. Credit cost should stay benign. OCBC believes its ASEAN-Greater China connectivity could drive S$3bn in incremental revenue over FY23-25F. ROE translation was not disclosed. Retain Add. Possible upwards revision to NIM guidance could catalyse share price, whilst we wait for risk-on sentiment to drive wealth management flows. ADD TPS$13.50.
* UOL (UOL SP)  UOL has announced that it is divesting Parkroyal on Kitchener for S$525m. This is in line with its strategy to unlock value and reconstitute its overall property portfolio. Reiterate our Add rating, with a higher TP of S$8.20.
* Singpost (SPOST SP)  Minister of State for Communications and Information announced IMDA is working closely with SingPost on a " fundamental review" of Singapore' s postal service. Government will consider allowing SingPost to introduce more frequent postage rate adjustments to better reflect cost of letter mail business in the future with reviews carried out to 1) current postal service obligations and 2) optimise and automate post office services for cost effectiveness. The intention is for SingPost to remain commercially viable without requiring direct government funding.  We believe that a holistic approach is needed to tackle the structural issue of postal declines - rate adjustments is only a temporary solution and could backfire in potentially accelerating volume declines. Nevertheless this is a first step in the right direction, which could help with share price sentiment near term. Last call was Hold, TP: S$0.55

 Alert Admin 		Doesn' t seem the Ang Mo conduct any review with SCi management like the local analysts usually did. Can foreigners understand better than the local and SCI management? 

Just curious. 1 of local analysts remarked rate was capped, by still consider reasonably high, and was only a portion of profit.

Let watch 1H23 result and briefing later in early August.
