x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	hope apll divestment completed soon, then can nol go merging with japanese carriers. Japanese carriers might even buy over NOL liner division and this would eventually result in NOL delisting. Ocean shipping companies that listed always had a stable income sub divsion to maintain earning stabilty, pure container shipping business cannot be listed lah credit rating would go to junk status and this affect brand value. Best is APL got buy over then TH delist NOL.

Merger or takeover badly needed to shake off this vicious cycle of national duty thing and changes of management board directors. I believed when commercialisation of NOL eventually happens, NOL would make as much as anyone in market due to solid customer bases and better infrastructure in place to support their core business. last 4 years , NOL trade volume remained constant and steady, only problem they faced is bad management due to national duty from both fronts.

However on this platform, people forget that there is a time line. It will have administrative problems to keep track :) most (not all) of forumers here are short term, I would say.
