 Alert Admin 		Keppel corp is going to suffer in 2022 as their key property markets like China and Vietnam have been in a tail spin since Q4 last year. Shares of China and Vietnam property developers like Vinhomes, Country Garden and Evergrande have fallen by more than 30% over the past few months.  Think KC would be spared, think again. A matter of time. KC would correct or tank by Q1 update.

This is something that SCM will find hard to justify to its shareholders and thus the possible resistance and delay in the merger

SCM going thru many hard times and 2 right so far. If this fella dun die and survive it will eventually go above 10cts or even 20cts that is provided you got the patient to wait and money to spare. This could take months, years we never know.For me i have got out of it at a huge loss but use the money to buy SIA and KepCorp and did make some profit from there to cover this huge SCM loss, so is a matter of investing or trading technique, no wrong no right, Better has hope that by me getting out this fella will cheong but so far been months this fella still din move much as in cheong above 10cts etc. Myself I dun have much confident in this counter in the near future, but that is me, you may think otherwise, but I shall not talk bad about this counter as many still have hope in it. bye

I am hoping it gaps to $0.11. There after consolidate for further upside. $0.11 is the SMA 200.
Just imagine, if it up $0.10, TH' s portfolio would be added substantively. I guess, TH wanna sees their value jump too.

The management have smartly said that 2022 will be significantly better than 2021 because they refuse to commit themselves. Why dont they put it in their forward looking statement that 2022 will be profitable.They also say that there is sufficent fund up to 1h 2022 and not the whole year of 2022.They themselves are not confident of securing contracts 0r even making profits.

Both KOM & SCM Shareholders will get shares in O& M (SG)
Around 70+% to SCM  and 30-% or lower to KOM and distributed on  a pro-rata basis based on Number of shares held in parent company to respective shareholders.
( Tamasek will continue to hold 60% plus based on shares from both sides ) The valuation of O& M ( SG) will be based on combined assets.


O& M will acquire all SCM and KOM existing projrcts. Due to the lower percentage of ownership allotted to KOM, the new entity will pay KOM upto 500 million to acquire its O& M business.

If there is a need for working capital the next RIGHTS ISSUE will be under O& M ( SG ), hence there wont be any further rights issue by SCM. So if Rights is the worry, SCM wont have another UNLESS the merger fails.

Look at those good companies like city development,SCI and Keppel corp .all are making profits and unlock shareholder value.city development make a loss of 1.92B in 2020 but profitable in 2021 and give 31 cents dividend. Keppel gives 33 cents dividend in 2021. SCI gives 5 cents. in 2021. All 3 companies share price moves higher with more potential in future. THe poor SCM begs for money and share price moves downdward with no assurane for the future.SCM never give dividend but instead asking for money

  question:  if SCM loses money next year, how can it pay KC $500m for the KOM merger?  where is it going to get the money to pay millions of dollars in losses?  loans or rights issue?

 Alert Admin 		well said, weekaykee.  No new contracts, no profits share price cant rise. This is fundamental logic.

Did SCM report any new contract, any profit at yesterday' s financial announcement?  If not, one road ahead...price will go down.  So basic fundamental.  No amount of rhetorics can change this basic principle

I said this in October 19, Management may be trying to kitchen sink everything this year, then next year 2022 will be a better year. I saw this in the financial outlook now. I am optimistic. Projection beyond the 2nd half of 2022 has no relevance. SM is no longer around.
