x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	With the surging market valuations of its regional associates and its value unlocking initiatives (telco tower sales, listing of NCS etc), Singtel' s value is actually increasing.  However, its share price is decreasing. As pointed out by various forummers, the key reason for the decreasing share price is the low dividend announced recently.  Shareholders do not like it, including myself. But to be fair, Singtel has always been transparent that dividend is pegged to 60-80% of underlying net profit.  And this recent dividend is pegged at 76% of 1H22 net profit, so it is not surprising. To regain shareholder confidence, we must be convinced that 2H22 net profit will surge and 2H22 dividend will move back  to its previous highs.  We know that Optus towers sale is in the pocket and we also know that regional associates are improving operationally.  Plus both Singapore and Australian economies are re-opening with more business travel (roaming revenues) + commercialization of 5G use cases (more corporate revenue and more consumer device upgrades), so this will boost core earnings. Further down the road, growth will be from NCS, digital bank with GRAB and regional data centre monetisation (REIT?). So be a little more patient with Moon and Singtel. Accumulate more if you can, and look forward to a better 2H22 in terms of dividends.

Do u not singtel has cut dividend for the last 3 rounds !!,    Buy back from 2.57/8 to today 2.48 ( 620K daily ) ...how much $$$ has this blue moon used instead of just cutting that small dividend different  ( certainly a BIG bad management move esp where econ is recovering ...all other blue chips are giving out same of better dividend )  Further he is telling SH ...he is limiting payout to 80% max.  Investment for 5G and digital bank are NOT about today ...was this not already in the plan 2 years ago ?  Whatever, Singtel pay a price in this round ...a wrong move by the management ....hope it is a blue moon.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Good morning~~ alamak... knn drop to 2.48. Sold some at 2.54 about 2 weeks back and was regreting after it reach 2.58 early last week, but seems like going down again leh. Guess have to wait for next quarter to see whether can breach 2.60.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Singtel is venturing into new arena and with the divestment of certain assets, the market expects the monies to be put into growing these new areas. It is interesting to see Singtel doing cash buyback at this junction given that there is no negative pressure on shareprice. In fact, it is trending up. Who never make a bad investment before? Maybe 1 or 2 out of the hundreds that are lucky to have never lost before. I have my fair share of bad investments but manage to cover back what I lost.  When you have already vested in a company which you have done your DD, experience traders should not be alarm even if you see a few red days. Tell me, which company want to see their stock price keep dropping and lose their shareholders? None. Good luck on your investment. I am also holding on too.  This is not a financial advise. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	To me, when price drop it is a great opportunity for more new investors to enter. For current holders who' s average is high, it is also a good time to bring it down. For long time holders who' s average is below the current price, well most of us are just waiting to collect dividend and can add more if have extra cash. DYODD to all as I am not selling koyok to anyone as this is a free market. You can choose to sell now or hold on to it or add more but at your own free will.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Based on my yesterday' s thorough checking and calculation, 3Q FY2021 (Jun to Sep) result of Telkomsel not yet out including sale of 4000 Towers and 3Q result of Globe Telecom already out few days ago has been reported already in recent 2Q FY2022 result of Singtel. Singtel got inside financial information related to this period from Telkomsel earlier. Pls note that Airtel lost $63M on fair value of convertible securities as reflected under exceptional items of Singtel, eclipising the gain from sale of 4000 towers. If not for this $63M loss, net profit will be slightly above $1b!
