Cashflow was through the roof and cash reserves can stack up so high it will dwarf the Petrona Twin Towers. So what happened to this stock after that ? Good result means smart money should come, will surely come and die die must come to buy-up this stock, isn' t it ? So how ? Did they come ? If they did, how come the price fell from post-Aug reporting high of $1.30 to a New Low of 77 cts ? That' s 53 cts or 40.76% of its value wiped off by a hand wearing a glove.  So this time round, going to wait again for smart money to come after she reported good results becoz you think good result = smart money should come, will surely come and die die must come, Right ? You say good, I say good, he say good, she say good, they say good, everyone say good........so what ? Boh Chye Kang one. Smart money must say good. Then Wu Yong. Otherwise, Boh Yong one. No amount of us small frys say GOOD can raise a stock.  So it is back to the question I posed to you all. Continue to Hup Chock dont sell to try to save the stock and sacrifise your capital. Or do the needful to save yourself. Becoz she is not done with her voyage to the North Pole. She is still on transit towards getting there. I am not talking down this stock. I am sharing with you what I think this stock is going to do. If you agree with my views, you do the needful to save yourself. If you dont agree with my views about this stock, which so far have all come to pass, as time has validated what I said about the best thing you can do for yourself is to sell into a bounce, then stay and fight and see whether your sacrifice can help  to save this stock.  .

Meanwhile, prolonged sub-optimal utilisation rates imply further risks to future earnings. Over the longer term, however, the company stands out vs its peers, due to its exposure to the high-end cleanroom glove segment. Healthcare glove ASP erosion is slowing down. At yesterday&rsquo s analyst briefing, management noted that healthcare glove ASPs are quoted at USD30.00-33.00 per 1,000 pieces currently, but this may erode further going forward &ndash albeit at a slower pace. We believe ASP trends will mirror raw material cost inputs. Presently, raw material nitrile latex is priced at USD1.30-1.60/kg, vs the pre-pandemic average of USD1.2/kg. Cleanroom glove ASP to stay resilient in the shorter term. Depending on specifications, cleanroom glove ASPs are quoted at USD100.00-120.00. Note that cleanroom glove pricing is typically reviewed on a quarterly to semi-annual basis. The higher-margin cleanroom glove segment is expected to partly offset the decline in the healthcare glove division. That said, we expect weaker quarters ahead, as Riverstone&rsquo s healthcare glove division still accounts for the majority of production volume. Also, cleanroom glove ASPs will eventually normalise as the company passes on its cost savings &ndash from the drop in raw material prices &ndash to customers.  Utilisation rate below optimal levels. Riverstone&rsquo s plants are currently running at a 75% utilisation rate, as customers are still making minimal purchase orders to avoid holding high-cost inventories. While management has noted the uptick in orders for December, we believe inventory replenishment will likely be marginal, until a price equilibrium has been reached. As such, a prolonged period of sub-optimal utilisation rates could heighten the risk of further delays in capacity expansion. We cut FY22-23F earnings by 15% and 19% after imputing the windfall tax impact in FY22F, and lowering our ASP and sales volume assumptions for FY22-23.  Our new TP of SGD0.65 implies 14x FY23F (normalised base year) P/E, This is in line with its pre-pandemic 10-year mean. However, we note that there is an increased systemic risk on foreign labour reliance, given the differences between Western and Malaysian labour standards. They are not obligated to do so unless for companies' future benefits which in turn will boost inestors' confidence. I don' t have confidence on companies doing shares buyback on impluse. Third is when you have found it, put your money there. And the market will do the rest. Good earnings by themselves do not and will not drive a stock. Only if a monkey wants to use the good earnings as a reason to drive a stock up or if funds, institutions and high net worth retail investors take an interest in the stock and wish to accumulate it in bulk for investment, then the good earnings matters. Good earnings matters only when it matters. And it matters when smart money want to use it to move a stock. Otherwise, it matters not. And just becoz a company reported good earnings does not mean smart money must come. Smart money dont owe it to any company to invest in their stocks. Smart money are spoilt for choice which stocks they want to play. If RS is the choice of smart money, we would have seen strong upmoves after strong upmoves in the last 2 years and RS will be trading at $3.00 or higher now.  So this time round is the same. Enjoy the bounce meantime. Though not much of a bounce. And dunno if we will get a better bounce in the days ahead. To Hup Chock and dont sell and hope that your sacrifice will save this stock or to do the needful to save yourself, each person will have to decide.
