x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	" SM is now a stronger animal after the Rights issue with progress payment' s slowly coming in and new contracts on the cards." not yet. it will be after keppel merger and improve the competitive which will be next year already. 2015 down, oil price pick up to 82-83 dollars in 2018, orders flow in. but in 2020-2021, the outcome show, those orders cannot make profit which mean margin is low or even negative. What worst is covid 19 causing, labour shortage and cost shoot up, China Iron related material all rebate cancellation which increase china and korea yard competitve strength and increase singapore shipyard cost. The oil price is 70-72 now are not enought to trigger preminum contract which can give high margin and end up sign a contract which think can breakeven and earn a bit but end up lose money. Hyper US inflation is my main concern given the excessive printing of money, not only in US, but even more globally. The US $3 trillions infrastructure budget, if approved, will push commodities prices to another super boom. It follows that the FED can't print money any more, worse still increase interest rates to fight inflation.
