Think some are already picking now at 0.80, seems hard to down further, thanking the shorties.
Think they are longists patiently waiting for LH to RH to push to say .90 or even 1.00, say for the next 6 months or a year for easy hefty cap gain, besides div.
Anyway, each covid variant seems more infectious, the next one could push the demand of ppes beyond the roof. Currently in many countries, hospitals are running out of beds for patients. Even Japan is suffering as competitions in the Olympics are raging.
Here shorties cont to trap more short term red faced contras, for long term longists to pick at dirt cheap. Yeah, best not to touch if u cannot hold.laugh

Singapore along with SGX/MAS prides itself in being a 1st World Financial Hub with Efficiency and Fairness at the Bedrock of whatever we do. Yet, it has come to the attention of minority investors in companies listed on SGX that SGX is being very inefficient and handling matters in a rather opaque manner.
 
1. Oceanus Exit Watchlist Application
 
It is exactly 100 Days since Oceanus made the Watchlist Application on 13th April. Yet there has been ZERO sound from SGX whether Approval or Rejection. There&rsquo s also no Timeline or Explanation given. We are not sure what&rsquo s the hold up because the criteria is very clear and whether a Company meets it or not, is also very clear.
 
I quote a fellow minority investor: "   It is very disappointing to have SGX take such a long time to review the watchlist application, when the criteria they have set is clear on their website.  As far as Oceanus and its auditors can confirm, they have met those said criteria (see:  http://rulebook.sgx.com/rulebook/1314...  & Practice Note 3.1:  http://rulebook.sgx.com/rulebook/practice-note-132-watch-list...).  Also, there are currently no other exit application submitted for review, so there is no excuse for an administration overload.
 
What this points to is inability by SGX to make important decisions.  It is likely SGX is cautious to make the announcement, taking a " wait and see" approach till after Oceanus' s H1 2021 results.  But let' s be clear.  While I expect a great H1 2021 earnings, those results are  not  part of the exit criteria that SGX has set.  Read the above sources again.&rdquo

3. Quick  Approval of  &ldquo Shady&rdquo Companies ASPEN and FJ Benjamin
Yet, SGX has  chosen to Give Approval to  &ldquo shady&rdquo companies like Aspen Group (their upgrade to Mainboard was approved very quickly, using that news certain people pumped the share before releasing fake news to crash the shares). The same exit watchlist by FJ Benjamin  was approved  quickly.
 
May we as minority shareholders and retail  participants of the market know why the DOUBLE Standards? For credible Singapore-led company like Oceanus, there is a 100-Day Delay whilst  &ldquo shady&rdquo Malaysian companies like Aspen gets their approval quickly. Surely, there must be an objective standard or timeframe?
Failing which, would Minority Investors issuing a Letter of Demand to SGX push SGX along to make their decisions?
 
It is frustrating that SGX  wields ALL the power but is not transparent or efficient in their job.
 
I have included all the relevant ministries, parties that can help  Singapore  achieve it&rsquo s 1st World Financial Hub Status. SGX needs to start being more  transparent and efficient.

Bro, 3.7cts div is almost imposiible lah.  Q1 eps 3 cts, Q2 eps 4-5 cts ?, total eps avg 7 cts, how to give 3.7 cts ??? happy to get 1-2 cts.
This counter is highly manipulated, who the real owners ?, who owned ths shares now ?, mainboard listing any problems ?,  too many unknowns.
For now business still intact, even till end of year.  Once covid recovers, or countries start living with covid, eps will drop.  So it is not sustainable with high eps.
Got profits take lah.

But if lookin at the next 2 years or so, think, covid is not going away soon.
The way variant delta is spreading, and with countries throwing caution into the wind, think hospital beds will not be enough. likely PPEs, such as gowns, coveralls will be in great demand, rev and profit shd still be hi, MT expected to work overtime non stop. 
Jus look at what happens to the Jurong Fisheries, not to mention the KTVs.
Anyway, 1H result on the way, 3 weeks or so, then can guage their earnings, but more important their profit sharing. Last H was 5.7c, if this one can get repeat will be excellent, but if cannot, 3.7c also good lah, for a share that is hovering at 84.5/85.0c, when comparing with FD only give 0.5c for every lollar u deposit for a year. Think BBs probably collecting quietly. Anyway just opinion, not asking contras to jump in and kena trapped by LH to RH kakias.laugh

I thought even to live with it as endemic doesn't mean putting guard down or ignoring protection but to move away from drastic containment measures eg. Lockdown. Regulatory: Listed Company [Is SGX sleeping on the job?]
 
To the Relevant Authorities and Media,
 
Singapore along with SGX/MAS prides itself in being a 1st World Financial Hub with Efficiency and Fairness at the Bedrock of whatever we do. Yet, it has come to the attention of minority investors in companies listed on SGX that SGX is being very inefficient and handling matters in a rather opaque manner.
 
1. Oceanus Exit Watchlist Application
 
It is exactly 100 Days since Oceanus made the Watchlist Application on 13th April. Yet there has been ZERO sound from SGX whether Approval or Rejection. There&rsquo s also no Timeline or Explanation given. We are not sure what&rsquo s the hold up because the criteria is very clear and whether a Company meets it or not, is also very clear.
 
I quote a fellow minority investor: "   It is very disappointing to have SGX take such a long time to review the watchlist application, when the criteria they have set is clear on their website.  As far as Oceanus and its auditors can confirm, they have met those said criteria (see:  http://rulebook.sgx.com/rulebook/1314...  & Practice Note 3.1:  http://rulebook.sgx.com/rulebook/practice-note-132-watch-list...).  Also, there are currently no other exit application submitted for review, so there is no excuse for an administration overload.
 
What this points to is inability by SGX to make important decisions.  It is likely SGX is cautious to make the announcement, taking a " wait and see" approach till after Oceanus' s H1 2021 results.  But let' s be clear.  While I expect a great H1 2021 earnings, those results are  not  part of the exit criteria that SGX has set.  Read the above sources again.&rdquo
 
It is very clear: Does Oceanus meet the Exit Criteria? SGX has to decide, it has been 100 days. Are we supposed to wait another 10,000 Days because SGX is too inefficient?
 
Doesn&rsquo t MAS also regulate the Regulator (SGX)? Isn&rsquo t the Ministry of Finance looking  into the way SGX functions?
 
2.  Medtecs Mainboard Application
 
I  didn&rsquo t follow this but I am sure as well it&rsquo s  been more than 100 Days.
 
3. Quick  Approval of  &ldquo Shady&rdquo Companies ASPEN and FJ Benjamin
Yet, SGX has  chosen to Give Approval to  &ldquo shady&rdquo companies like Aspen Group (their upgrade to Mainboard was approved very quickly, using that news certain people pumped the share before releasing fake news to crash the shares). The same exit watchlist by FJ Benjamin  was approved  quickly.
 
May we as minority shareholders and retail  participants of the market know why the DOUBLE Standards? For credible Singapore-led company like Oceanus, there is a 100-Day Delay whilst  &ldquo shady&rdquo Malaysian companies like Aspen gets their approval quickly. Surely, there must be an objective standard or timeframe?
Failing which, would Minority Investors issuing a Letter of Demand to SGX push SGX along to make their decisions?
 
It is frustrating that SGX  wields ALL the power but is not transparent or efficient in their job.
 
I have included all the relevant ministries, parties that can help  Singapore  achieve it&rsquo s 1st World Financial Hub Status. SGX needs to start being more  transparent and efficient.

 Alert Admin 		Bro, 3.7cts div is almost imposiible lah.  Q1 eps 3 cts, Q2 eps 4-5 cts ?, total eps avg 7 cts, how to give 3.7 cts ??? happy to get 1-2 cts.
This counter is highly manipulated, who the real owners ?, who owned ths shares now ?, mainboard listing any problems ?,  too many unknowns.
For now business still intact, even till end of year.  Once covid recovers, or countries start living with covid, eps will drop.  So it is not sustainable with high eps.
Got profits take lah.

But if lookin at the next 2 years or so, think, covid is not going away soon.
The way variant delta is spreading, and with countries throwing caution into the wind, think hospital beds will not be enough. likely PPEs, such as gowns, coveralls will be in great demand, rev and profit shd still be hi, MT expected to work overtime non stop. 
Jus look at what happens to the Jurong Fisheries, not to mention the KTVs.
Anyway, 1H result on the way, 3 weeks or so, then can guage their earnings, but more important their profit sharing. Last H was 5.7c, if this one can get repeat will be excellent, but if cannot, 3.7c also good lah, for a share that is hovering at 84.5/85.0c, when comparing with FD only give 0.5c for every lollar u deposit for a year. Think BBs probably collecting quietly. Anyway just opinion, not asking contras to jump in and kena trapped by LH to RH kakias.laugh

 Alert Admin 		Yea volume still low. Feels like the move is just starting. Still a fair bit to move before it is overbought and it is  moving very consistently compared to past result anouncements period.

Think it should go past $1 within the next 2 weeks. Having said this, trading always have its surprises. Lets see.

1. Yeap we are looking at the same result announcement. Which to me it says Q2 revenue to be more than Q1, by how much I dont know ( but refer to point 2 ) , so to me since Company dare to say this, means it is definitely Q2 > Q1. Maybe more exceed 10M, 1M. or 1 Dollar , also consider exceed.

- 5 Million pieces of MT PPE delivered to Taiwan. We dont talk about profit margin since it is their home country maybe they give a big discount which we dont know. The fact is, if PPE with ASP of 1 dollar ( which is impossible ) will give revenue of 5M ASP of 10 USD will give revenue of 50M ASP of 20 USD will give revenue of 100M. 
- Another point in the Link, there are 30++ new customers.
- 1H2020 Revenue is about 160M. So Qeustion is we need to see whether 1H2021 revenue will exceed 160M. I put my bet = YES.

3. Sorry again. Full Year result 2019 compared to Full Year result 2020 was different by 1 week. So I think your point to take profit couple of days before estimated annoucement day based on the reference from Last Year will have a stadard deviation of +- 7 days. couple of days versus standard deviation of 7 days probably translated into accuracy of 50%. which i think is funny to say this because you are just flipping coins head or tails to guess whether you can sell on time before announcement.

Thanks for the points below. Can you share the links to points 1 (latest profit guidance) and 2 (Taiwan orders from MT)?

On the profit guidance, I only see from Q1 result announcement in May and they said (Barring unforeseen circumstances, the Company expects revenue in the second quarter ending 30 June 2021 to exceed that of 1Q 2021.)  Which is alot more toned down than earlier quarters (e.g. Q3 2020 - With long-term indicative orders in hand and stabilizing raw material prices, the Company expects to report record revenue and profit in the fourth quarter and financial year ending 31 December 2020). So, i never really see it as like very positive. Wont say it is definite. But you have good points on Taiwan also. Shall see.

On the result announcement, why funny lei, companies usually announce around the same time every year. Can just look at last year H1 announcement lo. 11 Aug 2020.

Anyway i am a fellow holder, not trying to bash MT down. Just sharing what i observed about MT since last year.

Price will still go up so can continue to load.
