There will not be an instant significant windfall for those subscribing to rights, but it will pay off closer to the merger being announced. Do u think the lousy players will become first class players when they go from Man-U to Spurs? So SM paying $500million for loss making marine business from Keppel and this $500million comes from shareholders via 8 cents rights issue. Do u think SM can turn around the loss making  business from Keppel?

Even it moves up to above 100 the demand for crude oil will be getting lower as many countries are transitioning to clean energy. Even more oil rig projects are initiated.
