Medtec is hitting the lowest @ 0.85 since 25 Nov 2020. No share ever drop in such a drastic manner from 0.98 on 2 Jun until 0.85 today. 20 days dropping and ignore all the support and resistance level. This is worry sign. I reckon there are two reasons to explain this. Either BB is gradually offload them or owners of the company are cashing out. They may know something we are not aware.

I don' t think Medtech will go into losses in near future. Medtech not only produces and s KL gloves only but other medical equipment. Use of gloves and PPEs will be around for long. True that their profits may not that fantastic like last year but sustainable. Present sell off is on sentimental as everyone think Covid19 is over. It' s not true, look around us, we are not free from Covid19.

Actually they announced poorer Q1 2021 results compared to Q4 2020 on 6 May but share was trading cum dividend US$0.0418 about S$0.056. Could have exit when it hit recent highest $1.14 on 18 May with dividend S$0.056 in bank. I think share price still went up despite poorer Q1 2021 results because of " sudden" appearance of Covid-19 cases in Taiwan. Personally after seeing how the introduction of first Covid-19 vaccine Pfizer in world stage in November 2020 caused 20% fall in share price of Sri Trang Agro on very next day was scary, so I dare not invest in gloves and PPE counters any more. We still need gloves and PPE but best to trade with caution unless got strong heart. | ||||
