x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Offshore Boom Is Now! This four words already repeated for almost a year. Has SM benefited? Seems, not yet, to date. Ii' s crucial to clinch deals......without it, survival becomes questionable. Management needs to produce results in order to boost up everybody confidence. Lets not talk about merger when staying afloat is still an issue. Btw, the 2 Korean yards merger is still facing big stumbling block. Most optimistic date would be end of the year. Before that happens, we will not see our very own merger here.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	just trying to see the possibility of the merging between sembcorp marine (SMM) and Keppel O& M / KOM (if this happen) as stated in many news that SMM will be the one acquirer KOM, and likely this have to raise money to pay keppel. looking at the current financial, unlikely SMM able to pay and raise new rights to raise money which means the price will be diluted / drop more, and we have to fork more money to buy the rights  I don' t quite understand yet (hoping the shifu here can help me to share your view), the merging between SMM & KOM doesn' t looks good for us (SMM shareholders) right?  It may be more benefit to Keppel' s shareholders since they got money and remove their burden, so should we buy keppel more now? hahaha
