In fact some put in mechanism in place to ensure there is a staggered converson framework. Not sure how this SIA thingy work out... need more details.  Above is my limited knowledge. Now the stock price is climbing because the worst is over for SIA and many believe the turn around will be starting in 2021 when more and more people are getting vaccination in the world.
