No Signboard has no idea why shares spiked on Monday, board tells bourse regulator MON, MAY 03, 2021 - 7:54PM CATALIST-LISTED restaurateur No Signboard Holdings is not aware of any undisclosed information or other possible reasons for unusual trading activity on Monday, its board told Singapore Exchange Regulation, after queries from the watchdog in the afternoon. The counter jumped by 90.32 per cent, or 2.8 Singapore cents, to 5.9 cents at the close, with some 3.99 million shares changing hands. Kelvin Koh, head of surveillance for the bourse regulator, had flagged " unusual price and volume movements" in No Signboard shares, in a query at 3.15pm. Mr Koh asked the issuer whether it knew of any explanations for the trading, such as rumours or unannounced information about potential joint ventures or acquisitions. But the board replied to his questions in the negative on Monday evening, adding that it is in compliance with the relevant Catalist listing rules. |

No Signboard' s lead independent director resigns board looking to fill vacancy WED, SEP 23, 2020 - 11:03 PM THE lead independent director of Catalist-listed seafood restaurant chain No Signboard Holdings resigned on Wednesday, the board said in a late-night bourse filing. Ivan Khua, 45, stepped down over " current and future business and other commitments" that could make it difficult for him to continue with his duties, the filing said. Listing sponsor RHT Capital found no undisclosed material reasons for his departure, and the board added that there are no unresolved differences of opinion on material matters or other relevant information that needs to be told to shareholders. But the resignation of Mr Khua, who became a director in Nov 2017, leaves the audit committee without its minimum of three members, and the remuneration committee without a chairman.

Excluding shares that were offered to cornerstone investors, the IPO size was 65.7 million shares. The public was offered 2.5 million shares and the rest were placement shares. No Signboard CEO arrested and on bail amid probe into share buyback 03 May 2019 02:17PM SINGAPORE: No Signboard Holdings said on Thursday (May 2) that its chief executive officer Lim Yong Sim was arrested earlier this week by local authorities and has been released on bail. The arrest on Apr 30 was made on &ldquo reasonable suspicion&rdquo that sections of the Securities and Futures Act on false trading, market-rigging transactions and insider trading &ldquo may have been breached&rdquo , the Catalist-listed seafood restaurant operator said in a filing to the Singapore Exchange (SGX).

No Signboard should not ended in top 30 today. BB started accumulation since yesterday for future P&D Operation. Could this be another MedTecs that I have spotted since 6? Up due to Covid. I am vested for NSB now and will ride this train. Not sure any further good news that could push up further.

No Signboard prompts SGX query on 90.3% surge in share price
The Singapore Exchange Regulation (SGX RegCo) has issued a query to No Signboard at 3.18pm on May 3 as its shares surged some 80.6% to 5.6 cents around 3.14pm from its last close price of 3.1 cents.
In its statement, SGX RegCo has asked No Signboard to confirm its compliance with the Catalist listing rules, and to announce any information that may have prompted the &ldquo unusual price and volume movements&rdquo .
Shares in the seafood restaurant operator surged to 5.7 cents early on in the day at 9.22am, and fell to 4 cents later on, only to rise again to its close of 5.9 cents on May 3, 90.3% higher than the 3.1 cents at close the day before.
Some 4.0 million shares changed hands on the counter on May 3, compared to the average three-month trading volume of 0.74 million shares.
