I' m sick of not being able to travel and go for vacations but the majority' s attitude with this pandemic right now is just ridiculous and not helping the situation overall. I have seen many no longer wearing masks while walking around (just left it hanging around their neck or holding it in their hands). As much as we hope for recovery, recovery for this is definitely going to be prolonged considering the mutation of the virus.

Personally, I think shouting for dorscon red is just overboard however I also feel that gov should be taking more stringent actions before things get out of hand. We' ve seen what happened previously, and now with the double mutation variant and multiple countries having a big rise, one must not take the current increase in numbers lightly.

Also, medical stocks price rising DOES NOT equate to all other sectors dying. We should see this as a very important industry not for the sake of just COVID but for the sake of future possible pandemics/viruses. This pandemic has given a chance for many governments to start taking medical seriously to avoid the safe but undeniable truth of medical systems collapsing like in India and some other countries right now. Similar to how one should prepare an umbrella before it rains instead of only looking for an umbrella when the rain has already started, this should actually be the same practice for medical.

Vaccines are good but nevertheless, it has been proven with the reinfection of fully vaccinated people that it is not full proof, therefore everyone should not take things likely and that vaccination is the end of this pandemic.

The detrimental impact of a dorscon red on our QOL, livelihood and economy is unimaginable. Anyone who is familiar about policies on public health will know the government' s utmost fear is   healthcare system might be crushed if there are massive spread of covid. Imagine your love ones not having access to basic medical supplies to support life when it' s required. No amount of money or insurance coverage will be able to ensure access to medical support in such situation.

I won' t want to trade off my overseas business travels and holidays for gains from Medtec, UG, TG....

finally, dorscon red doesn' t necessary means that all such counters will be in green. This is wishful thinking

 Alert Admin 		I actually don't know ler. If ASP drops = share price drop, then so be it. I seriously think Nothing is more precious than lives. And no lives shd be trade off over anything, this including economy. Further if a company solely only rely on ASP then I will sell off & look elsewhere. A good business & a good company will not hope for sudden spike in ASP for growth. Shd have better strategy lar. So far, What in medtecs that is attractive to me is their stockpiling strategy. I don't see much in their e-commerce strategy part - My apologies to the rest. I believe if that takes off well, the company will grow On gloves - honestly I got worried too on the possibility of over supply. But looking at Aspen, hmm, I seriously not sure whether new players can disrupt existing players so much lor. But at the moment, I still believe in the fact that these companies are making money & will still be at least until mid/end 2022. Especially Riverstone. Probably a bit like Sri Trang that enjoys benefit of both - pandemic & recovery. Of course, those pessimistic ones can say, not benefit of both worlds but expose to hit at both sides. Pessimist can always say pandemic end Sri Trang gloves business drop, STA won't make as much profit. Pandemic get worsen Sri Trang rubber drop, STA won't make as much profit. Hahaha.
